I know the feeling. I stopped my workout regimen about 1.5 years ago and just started back this week. The strength training has been difficult, but I notice that my body remembers faster than it learns. This time around I feel like I am adapting quicker!

Loving your Christmas decor. In my adult life, I’ve only put up a Christmas tree two times. It was the tree my parents had used in our house since I was a baby. I put that tree up in 1997 when I moved into my apartment and again in 2001 when I moved into my house.

Good to know the cake turned out well! Our plates definitely runeth over for Thanksgiving. I bake and make ahead any appetizer I can, on Wednesday . sides and meats Thursday. Brined a turkey for the first time last year and hubby smoked it, it was delicious! We are hosting and Thanksgiving prep is in full swing around here. Praying all goes smoothly on your end.

Tan, I saw that you purchased carrots. There’s a recall of organic carrots for potential E. coli contamination. I think your Thanksgiving lineup is perfect. I don’t like Cornish hens, nor do I like oxtails, so I would appreciate the addition of the ham. And I don’t like cooked fruit, so a sweet potato pie and cake of some sort would make me very happy as well. I agree with Eric, I don’t like fruit pies BUT McDonald’s apple pie is bomb!

Tan I am not the best rice cooker. Also I purchased a rice cooker and oh my goodness they called me the queen of rice now the rice cooker has it so nice and fluffy and so well cook maybe you should purchase a rice cooker and that should help you happy Thanksgiving to you and your family.

I remember hearing years ago that LisaRayes ex-husband slept with one of her bridesmaids, but I didn't know that it was Nicole Murphy. Please correct me if I am wrong but didn't Nicole mess with Lela Rochon's husband too. The food setup looks great. I do have a question and I apologize if I missed it but will you be serving cranberry sauce and gravy and do you have containers for them. For the ToGo bags I would suggest To Go cups.
