Why do you rapid reset so goofy, it’s like you dont even cancel ur flip. Honestly seems better for getting alot since it cushions the ball, but bad for a comp shot since you don’t pop the ball every flip

I'm a Dominus main but I liked the Octane clips better in this one tbh. Ofc the Dom shots were still insane, but I feel like Dom favours resets and power, which makes it easier to just rip absurd shots on the net, while Octane is a little worse at that which forces players to stick closer to the ball, which leads to more creativity. That said, I don't think there's anything you can do in one car that you can't do in the other.

Dominus: Good redirects, nice direct shots, but way less variances in the overall mechs. Octane/Fennec: Crazy recoverys, good variances in mechs, way cleaner movement. dont get me wrong on here, hittin these shots in comp, with limited boost is insane BUT... octane/fennecs are unbeaten here, alone the flipreset, turtlecatch to the scoop... jesus...

I'm biased towards octane. Something about the way octane moves and interacts with the ball just looks so good to me. For me, dominus still won 2 of the rounds, but I really had to stop myself after seeing the clips and really think about how mechanically impressivehe shots were, instead of just picking octane every round because I thought the clips looked cleaner.

The thing about dominus freestylers its quite predictable. You are expected to do mustys and flip resets with it. The octane isnt specific to 1 mechanic, making it look as if it has more variety

If you're referring to 2:24 he meant that 4 resets is normal for frontal panda, not in general. With the thing regarding comps, it doesn't say which rank. In the clip at 5:51 the defender didn't even jump. Idk which rank frontal panda is in, but from his mechanics he should be at least high champ or gc in 1s and there is no way the defender wouldn't jump at some point. I guess it's more like the octane shots were different and the dom shots were more in the expected ways.
