Week 1 - Focus on finding more places in your gameplay to apply pressure (faster 1st man challenges, demos during rotations). Goal - as a single player, have more impact on the game overall 5 min: recovery/movement mayham 5 min: speed on and off the ball Biddles consistency (55C9-36FE-613D-7F12): good placement and power on each shot Corrupted v3 (AF68-891D-0AD5-19FA): hit doubles or redirects. Speed, cleanliness, and creativity Fast aerials (24A2-849A-610E-C67C): no bounces, good power and placement Catch & Dribble (772F-E563-3F9F-0EC8): consistency on catches, creativity on shots Biddles catches (3EA9-533B-4329-67B3): ditto from catch & dribble Rings WS map Dribbling challenge WS map Week 2 and 3 - Aggressive and confident; playing at top speed, while maintaining control; polish recoveries to enable this playstyle 1 hr: freeplay practicing setup and mechanics ***WHILE MAINTAINING CONTROL*** Shooting (4912-A5C9-9A56-555D): shooting is 80% approach, 20% shot Biddles consistency (55C9-36FE-613D-7F12) Backboard clears (5D28-2D14-F60E-A21A) First touch (4B9D-F3A8-DF18-5EC1): Focus on 1 of 2 things; either the first touch, or a specific mechanic you want to train after the first touch Eversax airdribble WS map Air dribble challenge WS map Most importantly - PLAY RANKED. Getting scored on for messing up IS NOT A BAD THING - it's immediate feedback on if you did the mechanic correctly or not. Don't stop trying because of mechanical error, use that as a cue to know what to work on improving, and KEEP TRYING. Week 4 - During your possession, start prioritizing your decision-making: 1. Pass to uncontested teammate, 2. Solo play with minimum of 2 touches, 3. Booming clear to open space Pick from previous 3 weeks the items you feel you need the most work on Play ranked!!!

@notsilver220
@notsilver220 9 ай бұрын
@@pppoopoo1811If that’s how you feel then you should probably do a training day and then a ranked day alternating. When you play on ranked days you’ll know what you need to improve on and can work on it the following training day. But overall it really wouldn’t hurt to just keep up the training and not just stop after the one month. Just my thoughts, train however you like

6:29 Hey thats me! Signing up for Rl-U has been the best choice for coaching for me as @Jonk can be a real hard ass when you need him too. I started off hating the training and seen no point in hitting the same shot over and over. But after Jonk watching replays of mine and pointing out mistakes that can easily be fixed with training. And re-enforcing the need for training, I now try and at least get an hours worth of good training in before I play. Also, as I've told Jonk. I need the hard push, not just basic this could be better bs. So instead he treats me like a GC (Peak is 10mmr out of C3), he puts me into spots where I need to workout what I could have done better in certain spots. Instead of straight telling me right away, this really helps as I can see what I should do in the higher ranks later on. Highly recommend RL-U if you are looking for amazing coaching sessions and people to play with!

@ryankozlowski3598
@ryankozlowski3598 Жыл бұрын
I was also thinking of this while watching the vid. Been a c3 (gc peak) for 4-5 years now on Xbox and have always felt too uncomfortable to switch my 6+ years of only air roll exp. to air roll and air roll left. In some ways it's been a lack of a want to improve, but for a few months now I've been putting in more and more time only to feel too slow with aerial movement or have bad recoveries due to a lack of air roll left. Every air roll left video I've seen usually explains the basics and tornado spins, but generically ends up with "your going to have to play with it for countless hrs and mess around until you learn it inside and out", and adding to that usually never has a controller cam to see what exactly they're doing. TLDR: I would pay money for a good air roll left tutorial at this point, or just pointers for ways console players can improve their game, so hopefully Thanovic considers it!

I've loved watching you, and your experimentation with differential camera settings. Rocket League does appear to be a game of Skill, and it is, but a lot of this "skill" isn't truly understood. Rocket League is an illusion of complexity and psychological skill, the only thing that makes it complex is the human users. Freestylers are supposed to be like the "Globetrotters" of Rocket League; however, the Pro players at the current time are literally so far off of practical perfect play, because of human ingenuity and creativity! Rocket League is a baby in terms of Chess; remember, 10, 20, or 30 years in the context, such as the context provided to chess, is not a long time. 1000s of years may not even be that long, it is only relative applied to our human theories. The game starts simple, however, the more the human user(s) gets off of perfect play with the given controls and set rules, a lot like chess or pool. In chess or pool skilled players have known openings used at differential skill levels; AI do not follow these as a lot of these are related to our brain and our ability to hold confidence, awareness, focus, and fight off threatening chemicals related to insecurity, defeat, fear, and stress. Remember, these same tactics were always used against human opponents in past games. Chess can be played with or without a clock, to add stress and variable strategy. Pool is the most complex game using physics, very few understand, those have MASTERED chess or pool are those who understand so little, but know how much there is left to understand; therefore, they know enough to know how to get lucky, so to speak, they don't purposely pass it off as skill, it becomes as much of a skill as being born, as your inner systerms and mind, that IS mastery. Two Masters before a match know there isn't much of a point to the match, but people really love watching them play. They see 99.8% prefect play, the Masters only see the .2% that lead to mistakes; therefore, rendering the matches more and more less efficient to partake in at a collegiate style level. However, these matches are priceless and so important on a societal and humanitarian level, my point being? Someone who becomes a Pro at Rocket League, it is an achievement of dedicated time to Mastery, therefore, they're given a true platform and a voice to use, if desired. You can say what you stand for, what you want, what you don't want, what you know or think is wrong, you can change your own future, through Rocket League, through Mastery. Therefore, the best players will be the best at alluding to what they are truly doin. Every player is bound to the same set of standards, therefore equal, as in chess and in pool. This set of standards is our understanding of our own minds and psychology, Rocket League, such as Chess, are both bound to these fundamental laws, though manipulated and different, same in psychological game theory. In conclusion, if bound to their own human mind and body; no outside human construct can provide any true increase in physical skill, but the other aspects of the game can be improved. No money, visual, or audio learning will help your physical body control the physical controller, however, this is an illusory psychological game, afterall! Speculation? The best goal scorer is not ever trying to score a goal, any goal planned can be defended; therefore, they are doing something else, and trying their best to cover what it is they are actually doing, a fake pass to yourself in a future moment nowhere related to the goal, giving yourself space to control the pieces on the field will lead to immediate success with no chance of failure. You are playing chess with boost and a 1.5 second mechanic that can give you an advantage that can't be countered if used proper in rare "check" > "1.5" "checkmate" > for example, a "check" would be a save, the 1.5 the only generatable force, a flip mechanic. Through my research of this game I'd love to breakdown the mathematics and possible perfect-play game theory tree of what Perfect Play would look like in Rocket League. Assume 100% control of every mechanic at every part in time, therefore the game starts 50/50 tied, like chess played by AI. Therefore, rocket league becomes like a 4D supersonic-chessboard, the car represents your hand, the boost pads, the omni-usable chess pieces. I'd love to show the complexity of this to someone like Bobby Fischer. He saw chess for what it was, in society, in game theory; I'd love to see how he relates the complexity of Rocket League to that of Billiards physics, and cross-analyze it with 4D theory, 4D concepts, 4D objects. Have fun and be kind to everything. Remember, we don't know enough to act any other way than the way we all can agree is universally respectful and kind. :)

A good coach imho would be one that can make you completely smash your peak no matter the mmr you have when you start the coaching session and make you feel comfortable and consistent at the mmr which was your peak a while ago. While a coach that simply gets you ever so slightly over your peak isn't that good at all. If you have improved so little mmr after 1 month of intensive training while when you achieved those results you did none of those trainings, it's not that special of training. By your own admission you didn't dedicate much time to RL prior to this, and now that you do basically double (or more) the in game time, it gets rewarded with a new peak. Woooow, I must say I am really surprised, who would have thought such a thing? Lmao. I am more than convinced you could have managed to pull that off even by yourself easily enough if you have dedicated yourself to the game as much as you did. Even without the advices and training routines given to you by him.

I’m gonna be honest, this ain’t for the weak, I tried the warmup for two days by literally creating a routine with notes by watching this video a couple times, however, after spending 2-3 hours in training and hopped into some games, I went from constant mechanical plays as a GC2 to being beaten to every ball and not being able to complete shots. I know you can’t see instant improvements but it made my mental spiral negatively and loosing confidence :)

maybe you wanna try out bakkesmod that does not let you see your opponents title and stuff. seems like your psychology is really focused on who is pro and who not.

Man... instead of a clean MMR at the end, you got a price tag instead for it. $16.99 for MMR, oof.

Great to see the Wayprotein's Shooting Consistency training pack involved in your training (8:10). It's my most used training pack for more than a year & it carries me in champ lobbies against GC smurfs they can't save 70MPH bangers I put on their net from a variety of angles. 100% agree with the note about how you approach the ball. If there was only 1 training pack to pick I would pick that one.

You should celebrare as Werid AL was trying to tell you with the lyrics "tonight were going to party like it's 1699" from Almish Paradise. Might also be a sign to take a break from screens.

For every bronze - Champion wondering. No you shouldn't train like Thanovic it won't make you much better or something. But what you can do is a replay review while you can do it with a coach or a higher ranked person you can also do it alone if you focus on yourself and your rotational and mechanical mistakes you do and not ur teammate it doesn't matter even if he does a million mistakes and you do a single one that causes a goal or leaves him alone in a 2v1 you can always find something to work if you want to find something to work on because let's be real the one who isn't trying to hard enough won't improve with that said my job is done here keep improving my dear plat friends bye.

Thanovic, your videos are always so helpful. Even though I've been stuck in platinum doubles and I'm so bad at 3v3, I'm silver. Really for the first time these last few months, I feel like teammates and lack of communication, is really holding me back. I have a toddler and don't have a ton of time to play, so I never have found someone to play with consistently. The one time I did, we did well and I never saw them online again 😂. I guess if anyone sees this, how do I work with poor teammates who don't communicate. I am not good enough to carry matches lol Good shit though.

So basically its just play and train at least 5 hours a day and get good teammates. First part is doable. Second bit is a fairy tale.
