It seems most speaker today is going for that ultra resolution super detailed sound. I had to be honest that I was worried that this speaker might not be well received given that it was voiced to be on the smoother musical side. I have to say, I am very pleased that every KZbinr I sent it to understood the goal of these speakers, which is to be fun, musical and engaging. Thanks Thu for the detailed review and a big shoutout to the Designer Dr. Viet for designing such a speaker.

Every audiophiles/music lovers needs to hear it, sadly some people(could be many) are used to with bright sounding setups and loudness enhanced music from streaming. When they hear smooth sounding speakers they are mostly clueless and quick to judge because they're not used to hearing smoother sound. Dr.Viet voiced Voyager TL very nicely, my original plan was to shot review video before end of May but I pushed other projects back because I can no longer wait to share it with my viewers, I had to because Even playing in the background I couldn't help notice the musicality of it, such a lovely speaker to enjoy my music without getting bothered by brightness mayhem. Great Job!

I think you hit the nail on the head Thomas you want a speak to be relaxed not in your face and engaging, but you can have detail that is smooth and engaging. I haven't heard the speaker looking at the chart it could do maybe with a change of Twitter or a tweak on the crossover. try to increase it at 12k of a third of a DB by just using inductors and resistors. what about making a MTM for your next version I like MTMs I think they work the best you could put the slot on one side opposite the tweeter and the tweeter on the other side, the tweeter always works better in an MTM on the side about two and a half inches from the vocal coil. use two 6 1/2 in woofer drivers and 1 1/2 in Twitter. what people are saying it sounds nice you might be on to a winner. not sure about the name bit hypoluting tho, why don't you just call it the galleon voyager TL? have you sold many and what is the feedback from customers?

Yea I did mentioned that in the beginning, i was using it with DSP, thanks Edit: I like it better in full range.

Nobody needs another bright speaker, there are plenty of them already. It is therefore refreshing to see this one standing out from the bunch. That's exactly why vintage gear is so popular, you can listen to 100% of your record collection, not just the 20% records with good sound.

I suspect that the Musizshare X7's phono preamp is quite poor from what I hear today (and the last video). Would be appreciated without vinyl or with a dedicated phono preamp. And maybe with the Accuphase.

I have transmission line floorstanders by Jean Marie Reynaud . Superb dynamics, very satisfying bass and reasonably priced. Made in France! I abandoned subwoofers a couple of years ago

@@Tharbamar I hope you can find a distributor or reseller in your region. It’s quite a discrete brand. The son took over the business from his father many years ago and they have introduced some very nice designs. The line transmission is at the heart of all their products. We find them in really nice HiFi stores in France and I know their export market is quite strong. Another brand doing quite will in France is Atlantis Labs.

I had R200 a few years back, only thing I can tell you is Voyager TL is going to have more relaxing, fun and enjoyable sound, as always the rest is personal preference.

How does this compare to the triangle br03 in terms of tone and misicality? Worth the upgrade?

Ok, these seem fun for a music room! Do you feel the Dayton Audio HTA200 amp would be sufficient to drive these? (Class AB rated 100 wpc) I think I'd still add a 10" sealed, powered sub. Hope I can find a good deal one something here.

Would you do a compare video with KEF R3 Meta? which one you prefer anyway?

I would not due to entirely different sound and mostly taste dependent, R3 is transparent in sound Voyager TL is not.

Your system has such poise and control. Quite the achievement. Its neutrality through some inexpensive JBL headphones is impressive. I like the idea of these a lot. I need to place my speakers close to a wall and the front port would help for that. These are a little pricey. I would imagine anyone with the money to purchase these would also buy a powered subwoofer to fill in the bottom. Did they integrate well with subwoofers?

Yes they do well in my system with subwoofer but you may not even need it.

The question many audiophiles also ask is how can someone listen to something not sounding natural and is totally flat 😉. Vinyl, tubes ++ have plenty of true audiophile fans. Anyways enjoy your music

Thèse are cheap speakers made with very cheap components for the crossover and a very cheap bass speaker, you don't get for your money

@@Tharbamar Yeah. That's a question. I listen through my ears. The sound comes from one of my cr@ppy quality systems (you want numbers ?) what are tweaked to basically not emitting bass. (For the details and clarity.) And still, the sound seems muddy. So I judge those speakers or the source recording to be muddy. Otherwise these audio samples wouldn't make a single sense.

Just simple neutral headphone can do better than what you’re describing. On my end quality of the recording is 24bit/192k using Tascam recorder and large diaphragm Sony condenser microphones. Edit: the rest is clearly described in the video.
