My favorite Kitty and Red scene is when Red forces Eric to take Kitty out for the night and they end up having such a great time that he asks her to go see another movie next week. And then when he leaves she breaks down crying and Red comes in and starts threatening to kick Eric's ass until she says "No...he was just wonderful" and Red calms down, smiles, and puts his arm around her. I even actively disliked Kurtwood Smith.......until I watched That 70s Show and I fell in love with ever shred of it. I was even stunned by the THEME SONG (cuz i was a fan of both Big Star and Cheap Trick!)........and that show is FLAWLESS. Ashton Kutcher, for example, was FLAWLESS as the horny imbecile. WOW. They both captured the characters with such grace and ease and completely disappeared into them. Kurtwood and Debra Jo: thank you for all that you do. Your work has made a very positive impact and I cannot imagine anyone else bringing these characters to us.

I remember watching 70s Show and my mom would sit and watch a bit and say "This is what we would do!" and now 90s Show is on, and my kids can see what it was like for us. Never thought I'd see the day. It's so fun that the show is back. I binged 4 or 5 episodes right off the bat at 3am on Netflix. I just couldn't help myself.

I thought it was alright , my husband hates it😂… he said the only good parts are when kitty and red or when any of the old cast shows up which honestly is not a stretch. Some scenes between the kids are good but sometimes it feels fake and not natural

An instant classic. They were so good together. I didn't know Kurtwood Smith did stand up comedy, and did not know about his insecurity of being on camera making people laugh at first. But he NAILED IT! I think he was, if not the funniest one on the show. I too was terrified of him at first seeing his evil character in RoboCop (1987), and he made me cry at the end in Dead Poets Society (1989). But this role was pure genius!

They always gotta add something gay which turned me off to the show.. Really enjoyed the first episode of 90s show. literally warrior nun, key house, Velma (HBO), sense 8, Mind hunter and many more. They add it in for no reason and it throws of the story.
@eoz27 Жыл бұрын
@@kendog508 I understand Velma and sense8 cause it does seem like they just picked every type of lgbt character and then put them in the show. I still really liked sense8 and thought they did a good job representing the characters and their unique struggles regardless but for that 90s show, there’s literally one gay character and it’s also a sign of the times, right? It’s the 90s, things are changing and it’s becoming more socially acceptable for someone to be gay. I do think it adds to the story and idk about you but I have a lot of gay friends in my life so it’s not unrealistic for them to have a gay friend in their friend group, nor does there have to be a reason for a character to be gay just like there doesn’t have to be a reason for a character to be straight.

Debra had done a lot of comedy. She was great on Seinfeld as jerries agent. But Kurtwood was a big time sci fi guy. Usually playing the heavy. So many know him from Robocop, but he played multiple characters in a bunch of the Star trek series.. I can't think of him doing comedy before this.. and in one season he became a legend. And how on Earth can you not just adore Kitty..
