I liked this movie. It’s not as impactful of a Christmas film as Arthur Christmas or Klaus, but it is a charming film. Definitely another win for Locksmith Animation in my book.

I saw Ron's Gone Wrong in theatres mainly to support a new animation studio and I was glad that I did. I also saw this the day it came out on Netflix and I thought it was okay. It's not great, but I find it to be a nice pick if you just want a comfort Christmas movie.

Nah bro this movie was 🔥🔥🔥🔥 I saw this at BFI film festival and everyone loved it. Heartwarming and hilarious. It’s an ensemble film and if you love aardman films like Arthur Christmas you’ll love this. A future Christmas classic. 🔥🔥🔥🔥

Yeah, what's the point of this when I can get a better experience watching the Prep and Landing specials and Arthur Christmas? Not to say That Christmas sucks; it was decent, yet it is still a weak film regardless. Coming from Locksmith and Netflix, this partnership won't last long since the former studio is under Warner Brothers' future lineup. If only that CEO stops cancelling projects all the time. But to end on a light note, John Powell did a great job on the score.

❤️💖 It is great to see Locksmith Animation returned after their first movie Ron's Gone Wrong released back in 2021 almost three years ago. It is great to see that Britain 🇬🇧 has its own animation studio since Amblimation which made An American Tail Fievel Goes West, We're Back a Dinosaur's Story and Balto shut down almost 30 years ago. Unless you can count with Aardman but they are more stop motion animation studio of course. 😃😀😄😁😊😉 👍🏻 💖❤️

Even Despicable Me 4 felt more like episodes stretch together to make a movie. Seriously it doesn't feel like a movie and it felt like three or five episodes mash together to make a movie? Where is the main focus? Is it story where Gru has to face this evil villain who wronged him in the past? You have this pointless subplot where the girls go to karate class? Where is the focus? Gru's family struggle to adapt their new names and identities? If so, then we didn't they changed their outfits and use different disguise so that Maxime Le Mal won't find out their identity and their hideout?! Lucy getting a different job? Gru looking after his baby son Gru Jr? Or Gru having a heist subplot with his new next door neighbor Poppy? Why the hell would Poppy's parents allowed thier daughter go out at night with a older adult? EWWWWWW....... Where is the focus?! This lead so many questions than answers.

I can't bear to hate this one. And I, too, love the score by John Powell (amongst several others including the How to Train Your Dragon films and his co-composing work with Stephen Schwartz for Wicked). The score elevated my viewing experience and it makes me look forward to watching it again on repeat viewings.

I like it. Santa is misleading on the advertisement. We could have told the whole story with out Santa if you love Leo or Spider-Man or Star Trek you're used to huge casts and multiple plots .

You know AniMat, if you just compared That Christmas' separate storylines to Richard Curtis' Love Actually's, which even fellow animation enthusiast @DazzReviews got right, rather than pointing them out as a huge problem for the film and instead just compare them to Moana 2's episodic storylines all while passing off Love Actually as just another of Richard Curtis' projects via treating it like an afterthought at the beginning of your review just because it's not an animated film like That Christmas and Moana 2, than maybe this movie would've received a 6/10, as I kind of expected it would had before you started making your review of the film, though I kind of set my hopes higher as I expected the film to faired better with a 7/10, seeing how great the film turned out to be… well, to me, at least.

As someone that dislikes non-animated movies with child actors... I am always happy with having animated for Christmas movies. The only non-animated Christmas movie I can remember liking is the Muppets Christmas Carol. Do have some non-animated Christmas series I love, but I get a feeling that is more a thing in my country than internationally.

I will admit, as far as simple Christmas stories go, this was surprisingly charming, so much so that I'm still kinda convinced critics were expecting too much from this. I just really enjoyed these characters and their interactions, and yes, parts of it do feel very manipulative and schmaltzy, but oddly enough, I didn't mind that here. This is one of those movies that I feel is allowed to be that way.

you basically need all these separate stories. they go together. The turkeys, the ATV, the hide N seek game, the strict teacher. I wish we had more time with each but you need the domino effect of unrelated events triggering each other

Did That Christmas bring you your heart, but the very next day, it took it away? Also, it’s funny how Alex McQueen, the guy who played Kevin Sutherland, Neil’s bent dad in The Inbetweeners. Couldn’t resist making homosexual jokes about Alex McQueen’s character, Mr. Forrest, in reference to Neil’s old man. If I be truthfully honest, I agree to disagree with this one. Well yes I can agree there were too many things going on all at once, If fact turning this into a series seem like a awesome idea. Since I really love the dynamics of the kids and what they have to go through. I find this movie very engaging and quite funny with some of the humor. It may not be HA HA funny, but the joke were pretty good, and the small romance in it was really cute... Adorable even! It's not most amazing holiday film but it's possible one of the best films i've seen all year.

Honestly, I give it a 6/10. I can see where it can be good and have some engaging moments but I felt the characters while they do have decent arcs, they felt flat as characters and Santa Claus was completely underutilized in this movie. It’s a harmless film but nothing i remember in the long run. Also, is it me or does the 3rd act completely rip off my neighbor Totoro?

I watched this movie with my dad. We turned it off during the first 10 minutes because of how bad and messy it was I couldn’t stand in the scene when they made fun of Jesus Since I grew up in a Christian household
