But the instance Eren touched Dina in titan form, he receives the power from touching a royal bloodline.

Reiner, Bertholt, and Annie are Eldians. Only Eldians can become titans. So the three of them are just like Grisha. Continental Eldians living under Marley's dominion. The only difference is that unlike Grisha, RBA were devoted to Marley's cause and are opposed to the island Eldians. Marley recruits Eldians to use them as warriors. That's the program that Zeke was forced to join by his parents. So Zeke, Reiner, Annie, and Bertholt are Eldians, but they fight for Marley.

just to help yall if you missed anything you have eldians who are the only people who can be turned into titans "devils" that's why they are subjugated. Eldians lost the war and they lost 7-9 Titans, those 9 are shifters (intelligent titans) all other titans are dumb unless they eat a shifter. Ymir Fritz is the original titan god (practically) that's where ymir got her name from, she not the actual Ymir though. The Marley punish the eldians left on there continent by taking them to paradise island, (where the king set up the walls) and turn them into titans. The Marley also don't have the coordinate which is the titan that can control the (wall titans) to trample anyone who would threaten them, that's why they sent reiner, bertholdt and annie (who are eldians which is why they be titans) The Marley want the coordinate to end any eldian resistance (genocide) and the left behind eldians want the coordinate to destroy the marley. The eldians in the walls (main characters) had no idea because the king kept their memories erased to maintain his since of peace. I would go further into the reason why they want to kill "all" eldians but that's not revealed yet

the owl gave his powers to grisha and grisha came back to the walls. he then ate the founding titan(aka the lady titan he defeated in the crystal cave) then gave his powers to eren. so technically eren has two titan shifter powers, the intelligent titan(aka the attack titan), and the founding titan(aka the titan that can make more titans, or the one that erected the walls).

There are Nine Titans. So far in the anime we’ve seen the 1) Colossal Titan, controlled by Armin now 2) Armor Titan, controlled by Reiner 3) Female Titan, controlled by Annie 4) Jaws Titan, controlled by Ymir, 5) Beast Titan, controlled by Zeke, 6) Mule Titan, controlled by an unknown character for the moment but we’ll meet her soon in the next episodes 7) Founding Titan, controlled by the royal family, 8) Eren’s Titan that we saw in the last scene of the episode and finally 9) THE COOLEST TITAN OF THEM ALL THAT SHALL REMAIN NAMELESS FOR THE SAKE OF SPOILERS. In sum, The Owl had Eren’s Titan, Grisha eats him next episode and gets the power. With that power he eats the Queen and gets her power too so now the two titans of Grisha and the royals are FUSED INTO ONE TITAN. Eren eats his dad and now has BOTH the Owl’s Titan we saw today AND the Founding Titan of the royals. I hope it was comprehensive.

To explain the 9 titans and who they are. Armor titan - Reiner Colossus - Armin Female - Annie Beast - Zeke Cart - Unknown (for anime) Jaw - Ymir Unknown titan (for anime) And the last 2 titan is actually 1 now because the Attack Titan (aka the owl) went to Grisha, who then obtained the founding titan when he killed the royal family. Then past on both titan power to Eren.

Base on my understanding in this episode was when the marleyan’s shouting that hey need an eldian to recruit and become a warrior and a titan. w/c is only eldians can transform into titan’s. Maybe bertholdt, reiner, annie and the other guy and zeke and the platypus titan or cart titan is an eldian that was recruit to be a part of marleyan warriors

For those who think that Zeke hated his parents. SPOILERS AHEAD He didn't hated his parents, it's just that the marleyans got a hint of the eldians restoration movement. And Zeke came to know of it from the former beast titan. So anyways the marleyans were gonna know about hi parents and then they all(Zeke, his parents and grandparents) would be sent to paradise. So the former beast titan tells Zeke to tell Marley about his parents and in this way gain the trust of Marley and atleast save his grandparents. This is how the marleyans were convinced to him the beast titan power.

Summary for aot season 3 (x20) -*Zeke is Grisha's First son* (which means Zeke is Eren's half Brother) -*Dina Fritz* (She is the smiling titan, that ate Eren's mother in the first episode of aot. Also Eren killed his Step-Mon (Dina Fritz) -*Ymir Fritz* (Made the Contract with the Devil which lended her the power of the titans) -*The purpose and Truth about the titans* (They were made for people to have an easier life, Ymir then died and her power of the titans were split into *9 Titan Shifters* -The Marleyans were taught to hate the Eldians because Marleyans fear them because they are descendants of Ymir Fritz. What did they do? They twisted the history books which caused the Oppression of the Eldians -2 Races: *Marley*(Place where people outside the walls live like Reiner, Annie, Bertholdt and Eldians) -Reiner, Annie, and Bertholtd aren't marley they were brainwashed by Marley so they can become Honorable Marley Warriors. - They punish *Eldians Via* turning them into titans and sending them to Paradise(they sent titans to the walls) -Paradise island is where the three walls stand (S1-s3) surrounded by the ocean -Around 100+ years ago, A Great Titan War happened when King Fritz took in the Founding Titan(which Eren has right now) and conflict was produced. During the war between Marley and Eldians, Marley took *7 out of the 9 titans* in control. -Founding Titan can control all titans. (except titan shifters u can see this in s2 episode 12) -The King decided to Abandon the war, fled to Paradise Island, built the 3 walls (Wall Maria, Wall Sina, and Wall Rose) & Started a new + Erasing the memories of the people he took with him for the past 100 years) (you can see this in s2 end credits) -Eldian's and Marley and have the same goal: Retake the *Founding Titan* (Hence why the show began in the first place) -all those titan in that episode were from season 1

Yes. The Walls were built on the island; made from Colossal Titans (or maybe other types, but the book showed in the episode assumes only Colossals) to protect Eldians at the order of the king Karl Fritz in possession of the Founder Titan. People lived there for about a 100+ years at the time Eren was born, I believe. The goal of the king was mainly to have a peaceful life and death, rather than to save Eldia tho, hence the threat to unleash every Titan in the walls to keep the world at bay. And yes, our heroes, Eren, Armin and the others are considered bad guys by the outer world.

I think its possible that you can have multiple of the nine titans at once. So, Eren somehow has the founding titan (AKA, Coordinate) as well as the Attack titan, which is probably what Eren Kruger (owl) is. So probably Grisha eats the Owl after this, though I don't know why. This is just me theorizing based on what the episode taught, i'm anime only.

I am just going to organize the information covered in the anime. There are 9 special titans. The ones seen so far are: Founding Titan (royal/mind control one Eren got from his Dad), Eren's Titan (they haven't said the name in the anime), Colossus Titan, Armored Titan, Female Titan, Beast Titan, Ymir's Titan (she was the smaller titan that was friends with Christa), and Backpack Titan (they haven't said the name in the anime). This leaves only one that we haven't seen in the anime. Marley has 7 of them, now 6 because Armin has Colossus. Eldia has 2, one of which the anime has shown to be the Founding Titan. Marley trained elite "warriors" to take the powers of the 7 titans that they had. Marley and the Rebels both sent their people into the walls to get the Founding Titan. Grisha was the one who got it in the end and then turned Eren into a titan to eat him, thus giving Eren 2 of the titans. The walls were built on an island called Paradise. The walls were built around titans controlled by the king of the time. These titans serve the same purpose as nukes of today, mutually assured destruction. If Marley tries to breach the walls, the titans inside will rampage. This is why everyone wants the Founding Titan. All the titans on the island were prisoners sentenced to life as titans by Marley.
