If you had kept on with the rough road from rimoi towards the other direction you would have ended up at Marich around 150km or so. Alafu the first town you identified as Ortum was actually Chepareria.

We had left Rimoi a bit late and in as much as the Tot road is shorter, it would have taken us longer. We also wanted to check out the new Cherangany road.
