Thanks for another great video. It was interesting and enjoyable. Congratulations to grant for his first haircut. He looks great. Fine young man. Like your hay seeder. Many times an older machine does a great job better than a fancy one. Nice older machine you have there. Like that big old iron tillage machine you use for you hay ground. Does a great job. Thanks for the drone footage. It was great. The tilled ground looks great. Ready to seed the hay ground the way it looks. That newly painted wall in the house looks great. Makes it brighter. Thanks. Thanks for everything Kip. The Iowa Farm Boy.

That barber is used to doing kids' haircuts. That is good for Grant. He is growing up fast. You are so right about painting. The years go by fast. You know the paint to use. It is top rated for sure. The sheen will dull down after awhile. We still have some snow in the Calgary area. 😊

We run a Kent 36ft soil finisher and we use it to finish all our fields corn and soybean and personally the corn seems to like the finisher over a standard drag
@burtzorn4059 Жыл бұрын
You can put beans in early. They take more cold than you think. Real early beans yield much better. It's free bushels. Lots of guys doing beans first for a few days and then to corn. Good luck and stay safe !!!

At the farm I work at on the other side of the state from you were were planting oats today and discing some ground that was too wet this fall. You guys should get some auto steer units for some of those tractors. That sure is nice. They are pricy but I think they really pay for themselves

Hey Kip I don't know about may 1 for planting corn this year. Saw my first bumble bee of the year yesterday, gonna check out oak trees. If the leaves are as big as squirrels ears it's time to start planting corn. Antique rock? Is that like Wisconsin permafrost? Very surprised your dad didn't break out the Bondo and fix that seed box like new. You are just like a little kid with that grease gun! That's how you keep that machinery to last though. How many tubes of grease do you go through annually? How about giving us some vital statistics on the farm. # of cows, how many acres, family and jobs stuff like that. God bless you and your family. You guys stay healthy and safe out in the fields this year. 🐄🥩🚜

reduces pressure on axle bearings that could come from the leverage exerted further out on the axle
