I met Michael Britt at RockBlock guitars in Nashville I’m guessing 4 years ago now. Sadly I didn’t recognize him. I asked the guys in the shop the typical AXFX or Kemper. Opinions were indifferent but i was leaning toward Kemper because of the more realistic AMP tones and especially real world amp tones. I left the shop and a guy, Michael B followed me out and ask if he could answer some Kemper questions. He was so genuine and full of info. He sold a Kemper THAT DAY. I have never looked back. Blessings to you both.

I would like to suggest getting into the weeds even more, I would guess (I could be wrong) most people that are going to sit through this, already own a Kemper and would benefit from specifics. for me personally - How to get the most out of the onboard fx (how you set them up) - I like your home profiling idea! - How you manage presets - How you manage profiles - How you use performance mode - How to get a good Wah sound Things like that. Keep it up ! Thx P.S. One thing that I use all the time and have never heard anyone talk about, is the Panorama in rigs. When looping I will hard pan L record a take, then hard pan R and double it up for a nice full stereo sound, works great ! Though Kemper if your listening, I would love to be able to control Panorama with an expression pedal ! Hope that helps someone

I’m pretty sure the Direct Mix isn’t actually adding the direct guitar signal but rather the clean profile portion. As you guys k ow the Kemper has a clean portion of the profile and a distortion portion (above 4 on gain). As far as I can make out the Direct mix is actually adding in the clean portion of the profile.
@ToneJunkieTV5 жыл бұрын
You are probably right, it doesn’t sound like a direct signal even when turned all the way up!

Thanks! I did custom order it because I wanted a backup/copy of my main Anderson (mahogany body and neck with 3 P90's). They're both great and they're almost interchangeable at this point. As far as PureCab, there are instances where it's useful but as a rule I leave it off with my setup.

Hey guys, love the video and I've been looking more and more into getting a Kemper Stage. I was wondering what you generally play the kemper through live? I have a QSC CP12 monitor but I don't know if it would be better to play through a real guitar cab for something like the kemper. I mainly play covers so and guitar in musicals so versatility is key and what's drawing me to the Kemper!
@dennisrivizzigno26065 жыл бұрын
Yea would like to see how you profile, my 65 amp London does not sound like your profiles. Also what’s with the pick ups on your guitars? Are you saying you get a better result sound wise through the kemper with them? Also lol I recently bought a ev 12” pa speaker and things are sounding much better. I was going into a ua twin through my 5” Yamaha monitors and was getting what sounded like phasing issues and just overall no fun to just play my guitar through. Still trying to figure this thing out.
@claytongouin56055 жыл бұрын
Great concept. I think the benefit of TPS is they really take suggestions and questions from the audience. Any chance you guys want to cover profiling topics like: profiling using amp sims and/or IR plugins, because there are a load of home us who probably can't just mic up cabs; tips for refining profiles from clean to high gain (not every amp profile seems to refine easily); just talk about some of your favourite Rig Exchange profile, kind of like showcasing other people's profiles? Just an idea. Loved the format.
