Love your sounds! You are the reason why I bought the Kemper! Not sure what you will be interested in, but there is an idea for future episodes: do the video about unusual dirty sounds. Something Jack White-ish or Steve Albini-sh, maybe grungy of fuzzy. I'm asking because you have a lot of really impressive clean and crunch tones, youtube full of metal sounds, but there is nothing weird or racy.

A long time ago, I owned the "Halloween" 2 Rock Ruby. Used it with a Dr z 2x12. It was a beast and too loud for a weekend band type thing for the most part. It was crazy dynamic. Crazy! Super fun to play. My experience was very similar to yours.

I did a full test on kpw of the input comparisons, the loop trick actually seemed to have the least headroom the alt input had the most. Search on there for it, I posted side by side audio comparisons.

I would love to see how you get the "amp in the room" sound that everyone is chasing. The recorded sound and headphones have nothing to do with what we hear from PAs, Amps or studio monitors. I have heard that the convertors used in the headphones are way better than the main output. Could be this true? How do you adjust your own sound at home before you grab your unit and plug it to the system provided in the venue? Cheers from Istanbul!

Please keep going forward! Revisiting the old set up does and don’ts regarding via Studio Monitors, Front of House or FRFR etc., maybe something worth recapping. Just see a lot of first time users asking why their Kempers sound so bad. All comes down to set-up (mainly output).

Awesome guys ..you’re finally back ! This is my favorite new KZbin channel 👍 Can you please advise and demo how to get singing sustaining harmonics from the KEMPER on humbuckers much like that of Mark Knopfler in his song “brothers in arms”. I know most is in Knopfler fingers gear etc, but any help or advice much appreciate. Thanks guys look forward to Learning something new. R, Mike

Did I dream this? Seems like I remember this discussion regarding the carve top beauty with the 3 P90's. Keep the great conversation coming. I really would like you BOTH to do an updated effects discussion. The effects options on the Kemper and how each of you use them. I'm simply giving ya episode discussion options. This could be updated anyway??? Blessings to ya BOTH.

Yeah we tried to push this out last week but ran into some technical difficulties and had to pull it down rather quickly. So this is sort of Round 2 of Round 2! LOL

Just starting off in the kemper world with the kemper stage , and for someone who never dove into the world of kemper , jumping into a stage there isn’t a lot of direction . So if there be any way to make a video on the basics of how to save rigs , the difference on the stage of perform and browser that would be awesome.

Great show - I have bought quite a few of your great profiles - I am really pleased with my Kemper - but I find I really miss the clarity ( for lack of a better word ) and amp in the room feeling. What would you do to get that feeling of a tube amp? Thanks

I would like to see an episode on "in-studio reamp", meaning using SPDIF from interface + DAW to reamp, in other words, no DI-box. I know how to do it with good results, but I would like to get more tips! And also an episode for us metal guys, give us some high gains! I love your more laid back cleanish and old school rock stuff, but I also like high gain stuff!

Maybe do a thing about recording stereo or mono the benefits. Also using the kemper as a bass rig.

I’ve found that the FX loop on the Kemper doesn’t translate the same as a tube amp’s FX loop when it comes to long/infinite delays and reverb tails. When using a Timeline and/or Eventide Space pedal with long decay times through the FX loop on a tube amp, there’s depth, dimension and some cross-talk feedback that creates a really incredible “morphing” sound. When plugging the exact pedals and settings into the Kemper FX loop and messing with the FX loop options, I can’t get the long decays to sound ANYWHERE near the sound of the real tube amp FX loop. I’d love for you guys to dive into this topic, thanks for all the great content!

we just ran the guitar straight into the Kemper Stage and the XLR outs to a DAW for recording audio (I think ProtTools but could be wrong) and then the monitor output was going into the Valvetrain so we could hear in the room. The guitar audio is captured through DAW.
