I LOVE that he loves to tell his stories. I've seen so many interviews this week and he tells the same stories. But they NEVER get old he puts so much passion into his work it's what I strive for
@madamefeast48246 жыл бұрын
Haha I know. He is great and I've seen many of his interviews and stuff. Yeah, he tells all the same stories. And also.. When he is showing off a guitar or something, he has a handful of things he plays. But God he is so effortless and proficient and excellent. Cool nice guy too

I used to use hotwire cables in the 80s. They were thick cables with those kill switch type ends on them, where you could pull them out and not worry about them making the loud noise. They were ok, but couldnt really handle long time heavy use. Mine began shorting out after a few months. My drummer accidentally dropped a cymbal on one and snapped it in half, believe it or not.

You can peel my original first press 2010 Dave Murray Strat from my cold dead fingers. The later ones have decals where the 2010 the signature is part of the wood, I luckily found that out, because I would have bought a later model and not even known it was inferior.

Buck Owens and the Buckaroos. Spent MANY a Saturday night watching it. Roy Owens was a very talented guitar and banjo player...Buck Owens was no slouch himself. J5 seems to be very intelligent and well spoken. I also watched a vid with his guitar collection at his house. Looked like he just lives(d) in a middle class neighborhood or something...no idea where it was though.

Telecasters aren't easy to play? What? My first ever guitar was a tele, it's easy as fuck to play...thin neck, no trem, string through body, very light...can't ask for easier to play than that. I got it cause everyone was playing a strat and I wanted something that looked different.
@BamesJond6669 жыл бұрын
+surgeyX i think it really depends on what you're used to. when i first got mine i had been playing thinner guitars with slimmer necks and better high fret access. certainly not as easy to play as a strat or a jag. now i've grown to prefer the tele though. awesome guitars.
@5urg3x9 жыл бұрын
+BamesJond666 Well to be fair, I have the Fender Tele FMT special -- it's very thin / light, it's not like a "normal" tele -- it also has a set neck so the upper fret access is like butter...The neck profile is also very thin...They call it "Modern C" but it's the thinnest neck I've ever played in my life, even thinner than Ibanez Wizard necks. So I guess my tele isn't like everyone else's :D
