im 45, i grew up in kensgington in philly back then we had block parties. the police would block off both ends of the one block, and all the neighbors would be out with music, drinks, food, kids laughing parents dancing. wading pools up and down the street with hoses run to them hanging over beach chairs as a fountain. cheap, ghetto, but it worked. 😂 dont see that anymore. especially not in kensington... good times...
