Nothing helps make me feel older than an anniversary for a movie that I was convinced was made yesterday

My husband and I saw Blazing Saddles in the theater on our second date. We've been married 49 years, and still enjoy seeing that movie.

The Sting. I was a kid and I remember how it affected fashion and the song was everywhere. That was over 50 years ago!

I remember sitting in the theater watching Star Trek and Star Wars when they came out. Or how about Bedknobs and Broomsticks, the OG Jungle Book.

Dazed and Confused (1993 - Texas) very disorienting watching a movie about your youth made during a period you were actually still young in

Never have THAT issue, just the opposite - I’ll be thinking some movie came out in the 1990s and I saw it in, say, San Diego, then I look it up and realize it was 2013 and I saw it here in the Dallas suburbs.

I'm biased because I'm a Native Texan. I love your short videos on here. I love movies as well. I have approximately close to 800 DVD and Blu-ray movie titles in my collection. I bet we could talk about the movies for hours. I bet I have movies that you've never heard of 😉

For me, it’s not really a specific movie, but when I reference a movie that the young have no clue about. My 20 something Queer coworker had no idea what The Birdcage or Priscilla Queen of the Desert were. 😱 Another one had never seen Star Wars. What is the world coming to? 😂😂😂🌈❤️

The Exorcist. 1973. I was in college and a group of us had to drive to El Paso to see it because it was too scary to play in our small NM town.

I occasionally reference life imitating art. California has now legalized composting human bodies, and I consider the next step will be "Soylent Green." It's amazing how many blank stares I get, referring to that film.

The first movie I remember seeing was Hatari. I think I was 3 years old. It left an indelible impression seeing that rhino ramming that old pickup on the big screen.
