What happened with max in brazil last year?
@iiTsFaded_
@iiTsFaded_ 8 ай бұрын
@@shaikh.sulaimso basically, Checo and max swapped places on the last lap and the deal was if max couldn’t catch the car in front before the last few turns, which I believe it was Alonso, he’d let Checo back through. But, Max ignored the orders and crossed the line, and that basically prevented Checo from getting P2 in the driver’s championship that year. Rumors had spread that it was Checo who intentionally spun in Monaco qualifying earlier in the year to prevent max from getting pole, so that was Max getting back at Checo in a way.

@@andyodley5200 DTS (Drive To Survive) is the Netflix series that focuses on what happens on and off track during the season. The editing and pacing of this short film is better put together than DTS as Drive To Survive is notorious for misinterpreting moments and quotes by drivers and team principals to fit their imagines storylines. In some cases, radio messages of a driver were imposed on an episode based on an entirely different event or race. This is why we agree this short film is superbly made.

Max is so blunt and direct, that post-race interview where he says "all of this, now, this hasn't been for nothing, and that's something which-I; which is very special." Max is aware of the fact that his entire existence has been aimed at achieving this goal. The fact that he achieved it while being aware of that, in the circumstance he did, surreal. The slip of emotion into his words tells everything, beyond the capability of words.

The key difference is that Netflix is trying to appeal to everyone with editing that creates narratives and heightened drama, the OP of this video has condensed everything to a raw racing level which is just 100 times better than DTS

Absolutely love your edit. It was the best season of F1 I have seen in my life (been following since the early 80's). Yes it's had its fair share of controversial decisions throughout the whole season, but in the end neither driver deserved any of the hate they got for driving their hearts out and fighting on and sometimes over the limit. My heart rate was insane for that final weekend and went through the roof in that final lap, I shouted my throat raw and balled my eyes out after the finish... what a season. That's how I want to remember it, so I'm not going to read any toxic comments but just enjoy your video of one of the most epic battles between 2 amazing champions in the history of F1. Thanks!

It absolutely was Albon, not sure why you people think it was GP. GP is way more professional and doesn't sound anything like Albon. Albon was celebrating like a friend would. He lost his mind and I loved it. There is this narrative put out by some that Verstappen is unlikeable but the other young drivers do like him. It is clear to see.

Only started following F1 seriously since 2020, but instantly got hooked by the raw talent Verstappen displayed. Seeing him win the 2021 world championship only a year later was a truly magical moment, and I'm so grateful to have witnessed it live. F1 has been a godsent for me personally, watching every race live and inviting friends and family to watch it together. Greatest sport ever.

max absolutely deserves the championship and the race win. shunt and safety car turning a race upside down have been part of motor racing for as long as there was a motor racing. at 23, being able to drive one lap the way he did, max is indeed super max. LH fans (some of them) are just toxic. whatever they believe may have "helped", they always fail to recognize all the "help" LH and merc got throughout the season, and the fact that it took a super talent and mental fortitude to perform the way max did under such pressure! people who never give due credits have no credibility, period.

Don‘t mix Max‘s performance with what happened in that race, he is maybe the most talented driver ever (definitely one of the most talented ever) but the win in Abu Dhabi was handed to him because according to F1 rules, you have to let all lapped cars pass or let no lapped cars pass, you can‘t deliberately chose and say we are going to let some lapped cars pass and others don‘t, thats simply not fair to the other drivers as well. Masi broke the rules to artificially create a racing ending which should have been exciting but what excitement is there when one car is on 40laps old hard tires and the other one is on fresh soft? Even the Alpha Tauri would have overtaken Lewis in that case. Also Mercedes could have pitted but how should they know that Masi would break the rules and let only the lapped cars between RB and Merc pass, because if everything went according to the rules, the race would have ended under the safety car and then Mercedes would have lost track position so considering everything goes by the rules it would have been very stupid to pit. Masi broke two rules that day (Which the FIA also admitted to btw.) and that handed Max and easy win.
