Great singers. I miss to not to see Aaron singing in quartet anymore. His bass is amazingly good,

@@katiedanielle89_ Yes, I saw him singing with that group but his performance, including his personal look, is much better with other quartets.

At first I thought that was Burleigh Buckwell singing tenor but remembered they replaced him with Milton Tarley. I think that was around ‘05-‘06 though good to see him here

Seems to me like Aaron got over-shadowed by the other group members on that one, especially there at the last. They were louder than Aaron, and I found it to be very irritating! A group that over-powers their Bass Singer like that needs to pull in the reins, and let their Bass Singer be heard.

John Rulapaugh told me that the dancing thing Tony did was a joke. He was poking fun at McCray Dove whom John was with just a few months prior. When John cut him off, the audience laughed, big time you couldn't hear them but John could. They got the joke. He said it has lost its touch over time.

The Tenor, John Rulapaugh, used to sing with The Dove brothers and that's what McCrey (Sp?) did during the "Rain, Rain, Rain" part. That was to poke a little fun at McCrey I believe and to make the audience laugh a little. John's reaction wasn't him being put off, just him attempting to act like it wasn't cool to poke fun at McCrey. Don't look to deep into what you think he looked like. I have performed on that very stage and with those guys before, I know they weren't REALLY put off :-)

I wonder how hard he had to push, vocally, in order for his Bass Singing to be heard, especially there at the last of the song? He did a great job, but he had to be pushing like sixty, in order to be heard. The other guys were over-powering him, at least that's the way It seems to me.

I have a question...Does anyone know why John and the lead (don't know his name) got so put off by Tony at 2:31? He didn't seem to be doing anything wrong. Heck, one of the members of the Dove Brothers does that on "Didn't it rain?" on the "Pray, PRAY, pray, PRAY..." part. It just seems a little odd to me that it would be ok for one person to dance like that but not another. Anyone know why the lead and tenor here reacted the way they did?

Okay, I get it. Sorry if I seemed put off myself, and I hope no hard feelings. I just happen to be a very sensitive guy (sometimes overly so, as you can see by this example), and I can often get carried away with my accusations. Sorry about that! By the way, I think it's also worth asking...you said you've performed with "those guy before"...do you mean this group here or the Dove Brothers? Either way, what was your position in the group (i.e. what part you sang or what instrument you played)?
@Mark-sj3xb

I can tell you from a close source that there was tension in the group during Tony’s last year with the group. Tony has always been the talker of any group he has been with, and he began spending less time being a good quartet man (toting gear, setting up, breaking down,etc) and yukking it up with the crowds while the other four did all the heavy lifting. It created bad chemistry and when Tony left it was not on the best of terms.

Which one was Tony? As much as I love Gospel Music, I'm not really up to date concerning this group. It sounded like they were over-powering Aaron McCune, their Bass Singer, on this song. Sorry to say, this isn't one of my favorite groups. In fact, I know very little about them.

P. S.-I just went to Wapedia, and looked up the Kingsmen Quartet, and found out that, indeed, Tony Peace was with the Kingsmen Quartet as their Baritone Singer from 2005-2007. Seems like he didn't stay with them for very long-Possibly between 1-2 years.
