No lie I was listening to Questlove's podcast and he was talking about this. The "black laugh". It went way deeper than I expected, back to how slaves were not permitted to laugh or joke. The literal _first_ black person to record on phonograph, George W. Johnson, made "The Laughing Song" specifically about black people not being able to laugh. Like you said, this skit is super real
