Lebanese is the best. Its worth noting That Lebanese, Syrian, Egyptian, PAlestinian, Jordanian etc all share a lot of similar dishes, just altered to fit each taste

I live next to a place in London, UK called Z&Z bakery which does £2 breakfast manakish. Not been there in months now. I really miss it. Just a hole in the wall but all the effort goes into the food. Lebanese food is by far the best of the Arab Middle Eastern cuisines.

Season 30, Episode 7 International Infusion was first aired May 29 4:30pm 2019. When Guy says it has a strong ethnic flavor I think he might be referring to the cinnamon that is popular in Egypt and other parts of the Middle East. It the States cinnamon is usually reserved for sweet dishes.

I was a poor student who spent a year at SDSU almost a decade ago (lived on the 54th street). Walked pass this place multiple times but never got the chance to taste their food, and now I regret so terribly... (The College area does have a lot of other great restaurants though. A Jamaican place right opposite of this Lebanese restaurant is one of my go-to places)

I'm from the Chicagoland area, where the "Lebanese" restaurants are owned by Assyrians (a Christian ethnic minority from Iraq). As much as I love those restaurants, I would very much like to try real Lebanese someday. Are there any Lebanese from Chicago who can tell me which restaurants serve the real deal?

Halal is a preparation method. It means the meat has been slaughtered in a specific way with some other necessities, too. You can make Asian cuisine with halal meat. You can make Scandinavian cuisine with halal meat. Someone who eats only halal meat will make their Lebanese food with halal meat.
