Incredible episode. Nick Offerman gave one of the best performances in tv/film history. Side note, after watching this I drove to the grocery store, bought a bunch of strawberries, drove home and rewatched it while snacking on the strawberries.

@@alecstewart8084 Based on the coherency of your comment, I’m not sure if you’ll remember writing it, but I’ve been there too so no worries. I love Parks and Rec. I’ve seen it all the way through at least 2 times. I’d suggest starting with season two. The first season is only 6 episodes and it’s the weakest one by far. Once it hooks you, go back and watch season one.

Such a phenomenal episode. Not to get too deep, but this show does a great but subtle job (whether intentional or not) of supporting bodily autonomy. I know this is easy for me to say considering I don't have a partner, but I like to think if my partner was in the same situation as Frank, I would do what they wanted with zero judgment or scorn

In fact, it is sadder than 2015's Obergefell because the first step was IN Massachusetts - the Gay marriage ban was declared unconstitutional by their state supreme court in Goodridge v. Department of Public Health in NOV 18th 2003 (with extension to allow the system to work with their ruling). Gay marriage became legal in the State on May 17th 2004. In the series, Outbreak was in SEPT 26th 2003

Wow. First reactor who paid attention to the names being mentioned three times already and wasn't like: "This Frank dude is kinda sus..." lol As for Frank's disease, he had either MS or ALS, but it is supposed to be a degenerative neuromuscular disorder, meaning he'd die a slow and painful death as he would lose more and more control over his body, to the point where he couldn't even swallow or breath on his own anymore.

Being a game player, this change is my favorite. They took the trope of a misogynistic, obnoxious, neckbeard doomsday prepper and turned him into a man on a mission to make the best world he could for the man he loved, and they had 16 years together and went out together at the time they chose. TV show Bill ended his life after 16 years of loving, while game Bill probably ended up infected or ripped apart by infected - who really won?

Most of the frank scenes are built around player interaction so it wouldn't be as engaging to just watch. Like, seeing Joel hanging upside down shooting zembies for 12 minutes is no where near as engaging as controlling it in the game

The most unbelievable part of this episode is that Bill and Frank would leave the window open without a screen in place. Those two men ran a tight, orderly ship, and to think they'd leave the bedroom open to animals and leaves blowing in is unrealistic.
