I agree, clary is underrated because most fans keep saying that clary shouldn't be fighting a izzy's and alec's level fighting, but I think that timeline of the show goes through two to three months, also including the training scenes they show for clary but in some episode they do timelines within the episodes like they said t's been a week later, so basically clary has training its just being seen to us.

Erik Simmons As well as unlike Izzy and Alec Clary like Jace has pure angel blood which makes her stronger and more skilled then most Shadowhunters and like she said at one point she's a quick study. Clary's characters development is my favorite to watch on the show.
