It’s weird in the show, that when they mention the molecular bonded shell formula, they don’t actually say what the key components or ingredients to it. I think it’s better not to say what it is. It works with the uniqueness of the show. Anyone agree?

Actually if you listen carefully in the episode "Good day at White Rock" KITT in his early days innocently almost gives up the formula.

Maybe, but I don't think the writers had any ideas for the scientific names for the molecules that made up the formula. So they simply didn't create any.

I assume the evil devon was just Devon acting totally opposite of how he usually is.....we see a glimpse of Mr Elliot in the chair before the switch....we can't assume Mr Elliot transformed into the evil Devon....

4:27 That chair Nordstrom's sitting in, that looks like the same chair that appears in Star Trek: The Next Generation on the Starship Enterprise in Captain Picard's sleeping quarters. Though in TNG, it changes colour to a mauve purple colour. Don't know if this could be the same chair that was re-padded or if these were just commonly designed swivel chairs round that time.

It's probably the same model of chair. I doubt it's the same chair as NBC and Paramount were not related companies. If you notice in the labs in other clips of this episode there's blinking panels of green strips. Those same style appear in Star Trek II on the Enterprise walls. I think it's just set decorators getting the same art / furniture.

Interesting fact: John Cosidine played Philip nordstrom and Boyd LaSalle(in Season 3 when Micheal got suspended from FLAG and worked for Boyd to steal Kitt and kill Devon which was fake)
