Always Al, always make family and friends first. You’re doing well enough financially probably to not have to work your fingers to the bone just to take care of your family. So, enjoy the time with them and relish in it, before you know it they will be grown and having their own babies, and you will wish you were able to cherish more time with them, and remember all these times you are having now. I don't know if anyone will read this because I'm not Al Bladze, but I'll stand in and hope he doesn't mind. I'm missing Al 's videos too, but I know that when you have stress issues a little thing can seem like a mountain and you just want to stay in bed feeding a new depression. Some people question Al's situation and I can say that I know people who are lucky enough to have great families who provide a nice place to live for a daughter or son while they go about living the best life they can. Although most of the posts here lately have been calm and respectful there are those that seem demanding and rude. Al has been doing things for others for FREE to try to pay back the kindness he's been shown. (I know because I do the same for some of the people around me.) It may seem like paying it forward, and for some of the elderly and disabled people Al helps it might as well be. I can't say that Al is living in a dream world based on a nice place to live and I never would, so just step back and be thankful that Al has place to live with his great family. Some people haven't been so lucky, and some have been in absolutely horrible conditions, losing everything. I'm saying all of this because Al doesn't need pity or a wake up call. We all have to work through our own physical and mental needs and he needs support. If Al is actually on vacation I hope he is having the best time with his family, but otherwise I know that he has had things happen before, and hopefully everyone is healthy and doing well. If I'm off base I would rather err on the side of supporting Al than just whining about a lack of videos. Al, I hope you're doing well. From one Al to another, God Bless.

I agree with all of the above, however...no matter what physical or mental conditions a person has they should always be in touch with the people who care about them. Al's absence with no notice makes us start thinking the worse! Is he alive? Was he kidnapped? Why on earth is he unable to simply say he's taking time out? Many people are worried about him.

Cannot depend on any government take control of your situation. When I froze when the power grid failed I said that’s enough. Invest to keep your home efficient when disasters happen. Here’s something I do. I charge outdoor solar lights. Bring them in at night and use them in my hallway instead of turning on the light I use these. In case of power outages I won’t be in the dark anymore. Just a little something I do.
