Then Bob Good said ", They showed up to work in person to protest having to show up to work in person. Do you see the irony in that?" "Congressman, I don't think it's right to ridicule the hard work of federal employees." That was once again a yes or no question and I think it further proves the case for incompetence. If her subordinates aren't even showing up for work then how much work is actually getting done. I'm aware that they are probably doing work remotely but my guess is that they were being called in and told to show up for work 50 percent of the time because there was not enough work getting done.

I'll tell you first hand about Federal workers not showing up in person. I work in a VA hospital, I worked the entire pandemic and was deemed to be an essential worker. I was given a one time award for this of $1500. 98% of these employees are GS Scale that still don't come to work. As far as I'm concerned they all got a raise. They now have no commute time, gas to buy or wear and tear on their vehicles. I still show up every day to take care of our Veterans.
