One of the iconic songs by Yorushika.
This song is absolutely BUILT for the piano, although at first, I had no idea how to go about writing it. I believe it was over a year ago that I first attempted it with 0 clue as to what I was doing (before my first video last year).
The arrangement consists of a lot of chords everywhere. Even if there is a single melody note, there is going to be an underlying chord of a note or 2(besides the faster runs aka bridge) because I think it gives it a warmer sound.
Also, if you are wondering what the bass noise is on every beat, I recorded and cranked up the pedal because it mimics the bass drum in the original song, go have a listen because the original is absolutely BANGING.

THIS COVER IS LITERALLY EVERYTHING. the dynamics are INCREDIBLE and your playing is so clean! despite the fast tempo and all the 16th notes, the sound isn't muddled at all and i adore the warm feeling from the underlying chords... i couldn't tell much abt the bass pedal but i also know i have crappy earbuds. this video alone made me want to get better earbuds just so i can enjoy this cover even more! and the final chorus made me tear up, it reminded me so much of listening to all the emotion of the original song for the first time ;__; really fantastic job!! thank you so much for making this!!!

Just woke up from my flight back from New York and had to load this up. Really interesting to note the pedal work, it almost feels as if I’m sinking into the music from your end, not sure if that was intentional or not but it feels great. And idk what else to say, it’s just so mesmerizing to watch your nimble fingers go brrrrrr and for a change, get absorbed into a song. Finally, your dynamic changes are insane. That was incredible control at 3:10. Easily the greatest anipianist of our generation, remember me when you’re famous.
