The "busted" is definitely the best part of the show. And omg Amane trying to be the more mature one only to fail immediately so SO on brand for her lol. Also the end scene of their first meeting to just later on when she was drunk is great. It's funny because throughout the show, I know she was the more upfront type of char and I joked that he would be the one admitting his feelings until nearing the end when I thought it would be him.

Right before that cafe scene, an old dude was hitting up Akito to be a model, but the moment he saw Akane, "Sorry, but I'm meeting someone." And he RAN to her.

I absolutely loved this show, when they barely had episode 3 up... I couldn't take it and binged the manga. So, knowing whats in the manga- I hope that they animate a season 2. His smile when he said "I'm busted" sent me into a spiral. I loved watching their interactions so much, it seemed from very early on that Yamada liked Akane but I cant tell at which moment it clicked for him ;;

You should watch MY HAPPY MARRIAGE next. It’s another Shojo anime that aired this year and just ended last week. If you like Loving Yamada, you’ll definitely love My Happy Marriage Not a Shojo but this one is lovely as well. SKIP AND LOAFER aired the same season as Loving Yamada. You’ll love this too

And while this isn't too common in rom-com shows, there are a few other examples where they don't waste much time either (most notably ToniKawa)
