You really need to remember your capability and inbuilt resilience Maddie; You are more than capable of finding solutions to problems that will inevitably crop up. It's real life unfortunately :) Keep at it girl!!!

We had the Seawater shutoff valve handle break in the closed position during a training trip with a fixed schedule examination at the end. So we had to mcgyver a solution as well. In the end we ran a hose from the toilet water inlet to the engine in the back and did the practical examination with that setup. Fortunately one of the last events in the season and the boat went out of the water afterwards.

I love the revisit :) This was a trip that I know, in hindsight, brought so much more to you then just the immediate crisis. The OVERCOMING and the coming together showed you that you CAN and also, Its why ive always loved the boating community :)

It really warms my heart to hear how people went out of their way. Always nice to revisit that, and take the chance to shout them out.

The kindness of strangers sometimes is an amazing thing. No where as dire (potentially) as yours , at work the other day it looked like we're manually taking a large lump up 10 flights of stairs, several people pushing past, some watching and commenting ONE tried to help, had to explain had a powered stai climber. Have a happy Christmas time and a very boat prosperous new year! Mike

Hi Maddy. How time flies looks, like ancient history now. I've been watching a Dutch girl on KZbin. Itchy boots. At this moment she drives alone on a motorbike through turkey into irak. Going to Baghdad... The amount of friendly people she meets is unbelievable. Same as you do. Lots of nice folks around! Chiao.

after watching the previous video (timing, I know), I caught myself thinking: wouldn't it make your life a lot easier to keep the vertical dividers of the battery box solid, and instead make 3 shelves to divide the box into 6? That way, if you ever need to service one of the bottom 3 enclosures, you only need to empty out the shelf above it and remove the bottom, and you'll have access to the batteries underneath. That, as opposed to now needing to empty all 3 of the top enclosures, and disassembling the box almost fully. I don't know if you've discussed your reasoning for doing it this way, so I'd be curious to know if there's a significant benefit to doing it this way. As I'm binging the past 3 episodes tonight, I've also left this comment on the previous video, but thought I'd place it here too, just in case
