@Social Injustice Goblin it’s written by the author of the light novel, this is definitely not fan fiction and definitely sits somewhere on the timeline despite not being canon. it’s obviously after walpurgis and before the demon corps are formed. it vaguely takes place somewhere around the festival probably. and nothing in this movie really would prevent it from technically being canon it doesn’t interfere or conflict with the canon storyline in major any way really. you don’t need to seem angry about it, it’s huge for the franchise and helps guarantee and fund more tensura beyond season 3.

None of the main characters took the enemies too seriously and it was goofy 100% of the whole movie. Also it is not cannon so anything in that movie does not matter for season 3.
