I did 3 combat tours over there. I had no clue you were there. Much respect brother. I would go back anytime. Its hard to find relatable things back home and nothing will ever match or exceed the adrenaline and fear that I felt while fighting and I don't have any regrets about anything done while there. War is hell and its best to not let it ruin your life and find coping mechanisms to deal with any trauma you might have endured.

You know why I respect this guy [Casey]? He does shit he doesn't have to do, like go to Afghanistan, and bring his friend to tattoo Airmen. And he continues to tell these dude's stories, and continues to share moments in his life; the ups, the downs, and almost everything, and I fucking respect that. And I'd be lying if I didn't say that I grow as a person watching these videos. As a former Marine and Combat Veteran, I had no fucking idea of what to do with myself after I separated, and I put myself down a lot when it came to me chasing my dreams (photo & video). I've said things like: 'Oh, I'm not good enough.', or ' Eh, I'm not creative enough.' But then my Wife made me watch one of your videos, and ever since then, It's been a complete 180. Now, I just go for it and try to do more every day. Thanks for what you do. Bill.
