There's so many people commenting who don't know Martin Short or his work, and I highly recommend him! SCTV, his one season of SNL, his comedy specials, Clifford, Father of the Bride...if you haven't seen any of these, he's done voice work before, too. I remember him with Patrick Stewart in Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius. I've been a big fan of Martin Short since I was a child. He's kinda shaped my own sense of humor. The memoir is beautifully written, too.

I used to watch Martin Short when he had a daytime show and that was the first time I saw Jiminy Glick....like a lot of people (including supposedly Martin Short's own mother) I could not recognize him. Martin's story about meeting Frank Sinatra, reminded me of a story a friend told me: He and some buddies went on a bender and the next day they were all hung over. They went to a restaurant for breakfast and the waitress asked if he wanted soup or juice with the meal. God only knows why they offered soup for breakfast, but anyway, my friend thought she said super juice. He was so hung over, he thought there was actually a hangover cure called super juice. He ordered the super juice and the waitress stormed off, returning with a glass of juice. She thought he was making fun of her accent. lol!!
