The new DOTM story is Sentinel Prime has already told Megatron that He died during the Cybertron War, His immediate descendant Sentinel Minor has the same personality as TFA Sentinel Prime. He's a squishy character who blames Ultra Magnus and Optimus for the ongoing war. He also had the idea of betraying Autobots, and hitting the head off to use Decepticons. But his end ends for Optimus. In the days of Cybertron functionalism, Sentinel Minor was young and brazenly sarcastic, teasing Orion Pax.

Also, I think you mentioned this in one of your other videos - the in-universe explanation as to why he's red and black instead of yellow is because transformers can customise their vehicle mode after they scanned it. Sentinel probably did scan a yellow fire truck but then just tweaked it to his liking, which ended up being a red and black colour scheme. I mean, if we look at Age of Extinction, Optimus scanned a plain white Westernstar truck and he's actual vehicle mode ended up being a fully customised version of the truck with his iconic red and blue colour scheme.

Something else that must also be considered is that the original Marvel comics depiction of Sentinel was also yellow. Perhaps the early CGI renders (as well as the concept art) were a callback to this.

Actually if you check some of the concept arts for wreckers from dotm you can see that protoform concepts are yellow or bronze color, so in universe explanation is can be that sentinel was in his protoform mode, sorry for my English, I didn't speak it 100% 😂

Btw, I have something that may become a video idea for you, and that is why Starscream was killed so easily by Sam Witwicky in Transformers Dark of the Moon. My theory is because Starscream said "you and me, alone." meaning that Starscream probably didn't even intend to cause harm to Sam Witwicky or anyone around him, and just wanted to capture Sam Witwicky for Megatron or Sentinel Prime or even to keep Sam away from Carly so Dylan Gould could kidnap Carly Spencer again. So, maybe that's why he seemed so not threatening and dumb when us viewers would watch the way he was being beat up in battle. Just my theory. But I actually think that may explain why Sam was able to kill Starscream so easily.

The PANTHER Rosenbauer comes in red and black, or, yellowish green. The yellowish green is typically seen in airports due to regulation, correct! However, this isn't the case for everywhere in the world, as Canada has a white and purple PANTHER Rosenbauer. Now, early concept art displayed Sentinel, (Ultra Magnus), as golden. You see, it's not actually yellow. There's a distinct difference between yellow and gold. And, I'd imagine painting an already expensive truck golden would be not only expensive, but ridiculous too! So, that's likely why Bay went with the legal, (not illegal), red and black scheme. Great video! ❤

RiD Optimus Prime (the one in the current Omega Prime HasLab) would make a great "G1" style Sentinel Prime if it was recolored in yellow. He even turns into a Fire Engine!

Sentinel Prime was originally kind of a yellowish orange in the comics too. And he was Blue in Animated. Sentinel can never keep the same color scheme apperently.
