From everything I've heard, Dennis and Phil saw themselves in each other. They were both misunderstood by their teammates and were oddballs.

the 90's Bulls 2nd Three-Peat, the gift that keeps on giving over 25 years later, 'those were the days' (now wondering if that 10,000 Maniacs song was a backdrop for any Bulls tribute videos from those 3 years)

Dennis gave his Jersey away at just about every home game by flinging it into the crowd. The lucky receiver got a nice game memento.

Won 3 championships with him before they all split up and left.... Dennis was kinda overrated though. Was an offensive liability, always in danger of fouling out of games, and he was quite injury prone towards end of his career with the bulls. Would miss like 1/3 of the season.

@@selwynjacobs cool. then you should know that Rodman was a plus passer in a system that required it and he knew his scoring limitations and rarely stepped outside of them. And he was no more "in danger of fouling out" than any other primary post defender of that era.

@@dta1329 didnt they sign Cousins for more than Javale was paid? Money wasn’t the reason. Bell was beat out by Porter Jr, who ended up playing great en route to a championship. But after Porter jr was gone, Bell didnt get a chance to compete for a spot once again

@@nymike06My dad is in his 60s and looks like he could be his father. Athletes usually look younger than others because they're in shape and/or eat well, etc.. I know he's had back issues, and I guess that might be it, and coaching stress. He did seem a lot more youthful and fun when he was calling games on NBC with Marv Albert, and if he ever stops coaching, I wish he'd go back.
