@@johnweak628 MJ literally had the same team he 3 peated with Pippen, Horsce, Paxson, Csrtwright, Hodges Even had Phil as head coach in 1990 but still CHOKED vs the Pistons in 7 games The "Jordan Rules " exposed MJ as a ballhog who played the wrong way till he finally learned how to correctly use his teammates in 1991

@@CannedHam2479 it was in the early years of them being together. You can argue that mj was still a ball hog but horace and pip was also in their rookie years. I was born after the first 3peat happened so I was too young to witness Jordan live. But I watched his flu game on Hulu or KZbin and was impressed to see how Jordan would go on scoring tears when the Bulls fell behind by double-digits, twice. He'd go on a scoring tear to bring the game score to a tie or small margin, and allow his teammates to use that momentum he built to get themselves going again. This game was in SLC and the Jazz started the game really hot. That's true leadership.

That sequence of 4 consecutive individual plays by Jordan is the greatest sequence in pro sports history. With under 1 minute 1. MJ hits 2 free throws 2. Followed by a rocket booster layup taking only 3 seconds off the clock after the inbound, in an attempt to get 2 for 1. 3. On defense, leaves his man (Hornacek) and sneaks up and pickpockets Malone. 4. Takes the ball up court, crosses Brian Russell, who with that momentum almost ended up in the parking lot, and Jordan hits the championship dagger jump shot. Can anyone think of a more storybook and fitting ending for the one true greatest of all time. And this is why LeBron will never retire... He can't (In his own mind) retire after a first round exit. He needs to leave on a high note. But he'll never win a Scoring Title, MVP, FMVP, DPOY, etc So all he can hope for is bringing another star over to LA next season to try and sneak a quick ring in a feeble attempt to cement his GOAT status. Problem is he's not even close, and even another ring means nothing.

My guy, how could you not forget one of the most important factors when you're talking about Jordan scoring ability? That's a he wasn't only scoring more than half their points in a more physical era, but he was doing it off mostly two pointers and free throws. He wasn't scoring 40 points off of eight three-point attempts. He wasn't scoring 50 points with 12 three-point attempts. This guy was getting it the hard way off of driving into actual centers and power forwards mauling him while getting hacked on the way to the basket off of twos and free throws and still managing an over 50% shooting clip absolute Insanity

If that were LeBum, he'd have been floundering around, and/or yelling at the refs for a foul, and leaving Utah with 4 on D. I think that is one of the things that gets missed when you just look at stats. He accounted for over 50% of the Bull's offense in that 1998 game, that's absolutely crazy. Every single defender knew MJ was going to eventually get his hands on the ball and they still couldn't do anything about it. I don't know if this is even tracked but MJ has to be one of the most double, and triple teamed basketball player ever. Nearly every single time MJ attacked the basket there was a defender there waiting to challenge. It's not only because they played tougher defense then, but also he's only a 6'6 220lb guard. He looks like someone you can challenge at the rim and they did... and failed, almost all the time. Go watch his highlights of him dunking, it's almost always on someone’s head, if not a coupe dudes heads.

@@CannedHam2479 you got personal stats to back up your claim?? Michael Jordan averaged 33.4 points, 6.4 rebounds and 5.7 assists in 179 games in the playoffs in his career. Scottie Pippen averaged 18.1 points, 7.7 rebounds and 5.2 assists in 178 games for the Bulls in the playoffs in his career 6 finals mvps. Not even close. You looking desperate again🥱🤣🤡🤐

@@CannedHam2479 Scottie Pippen averaged 10.0 points, 5.2 rebounds and 2.4 assists in 10 games in the 1988 playoffs in his rookie season .Michael Jordan averaged 36.3 points, 7.1 rebounds and 4.7 assists in 10 games in the 1988 playoffs. So it's impossible to carry a team with only 10 pts per game.🤐🤦

When it came to playoff consistency nobody came close to Michael Jordan. If you look at his worst playoff performances, he only scored less than 20 six times and his lowest point total was 15. In those games, he shot below 40% twice. Nobody came close bar none. In 30 minutes of play during the playoffs: Jordan had 15 points on 41.2%. Scored
