@@RoosterMontgomery So: There was apparently a VERY EARLY draft in which the Busters would have used what became the gear on the Deluxe figures. Egon's gear in this episode is the only remnant of this idea. Regular!Egon and Roland had "garbage can"-shaped packs; this design may have briefly appeared in one episode.

I wish Sony would acknowledge Extreme Ghostbusters these days. This was actually my first exposure to Ghostbusters as a kid which made me a fan today. I know some of the characters appeared in the IDW comic but it would be nice to see some new merch of the EGB cast or at least another cameo.

Obviously they couldn’t do that to the Ghostbuster, but they should have. This show is like if the Ghostbusters movie merged with the X-Files.

That’s so weird. Last year I dreamt that there were 2 brothers, 1 a teenager and 1 a little kid. They were at home alone, on Halloween, while their parents were at a Halloween party. The teenage brother had to babysit his kid brother while they were watching scary movies on T.V. and the movie they were watching together was Ghostbusters vs The Killer Klowns from Outer Space.

Ghostbusters Extreme was such an underrated series. The series was faithful to the source material, respectful to fans, offered a good "next generation/student-mentor" vibe, and had some of the edgiest, though well-written plots in the entire Ghostbusters franchise (which is no small feat).

They're not some unknown entity fighting a secret war that we mere mortals can never know about. I guarantee she'd just be directed to call the Busters by the police. Out of either thinking it's not their department, or simple laziness and knowing they can pass it off on someone else.

But like, no one really watched extreme ghostbusters. Even as a kid, I thought it looked over the top and kind of lame. I’m sure there’s at least half a dozen people who watched it but no one I knew watched it. Killer Klowns is a great film by the way. When I saw ghostbusters and Killer Klowns I was really hoping it was a Real Ghostbusters episode, not gonna lie, was disappointed seeing it was extreme ghostbusters.

How can you say calling the police first is a good idea? Unless the clown melted him with acid, but we can obviously see that the victims clothes are intact, and there’s no signs of a struggle. Cops would probably think that old lady is off her rocker.

People think the original show isn't scary, but if you edited a different sound track, with mood setting cues and atmospheric music, and watched the actual animations full of close calls and scary shit, without the theme music blaring on repeat through it all, i think the show could be looked at a bit differently.
