I'm not a Biblical academic, but I did go to Sunday school. I recall Jesus supporting fisherman and once helping them get a big haul, and at least once he rode on a donkey. I have a feeling he ate some sheep meat, but i might be wrong. However, he for sure rode on a donkey, which is not in alignment with Vegan Teachers version of veganism.

I'm not the best christian, but I can google pretty well. Acts 10 God tells Peter he can eat any animal. Now that may be a metaphor for saying he shouldn't treat any human as unclean. But even in Leviticus 11 when God says what animals can and cannot be eaten God is still clearly saying we can eat animals.

was vegan for 4 years when i was discovering my own health journey... and nothing of this surprises me. i was raw vegan for the vast majority of it until my health gave out completely from malnutrition. it doesn't surprise me at all, considering she would come off as pretty tame to the raw vegan community. the only thing i miss was how skinny i got super fast. it really is true; if you wish to be skinny, go through a veggies and simple protein only diet for a couple months. it literally melts weight the more u eat. but all of that comes at such a deadly cost. something that isn't sustainable. we are omnivores.

Jesus has canonically ridden a colt, helped fishermen catch a large haul (twice!), provided bread and fish for multitudes, and after his resurrection he ate fish and honey in front of his apostles. Should we work to remove unnecessary suffering? Absolutely, and a lot of progress could be made on that front by just not eating fast food. In a roundabout way, we are confident Jesus ate lamb. The Last Supper was a Passover meal, where traditionally lamb is served along with unleavened bread, bitter herbs and salt water. We could say that Jesus eating meat was rare because he wasn't rich, and in the days prior to refrigeration it was a sign of wealth to have it regularly, but he was not a vegan.

I'd have to check, but I think sharks are forbidden under kosher, but I know shellfish are. Now God gets to choose which animals for any reason he likes, but he allowed the safer options and forbid the dangerous ones. Many of the ways to be ceremonially unclean also happen to prevent the spread of disease. During the bubonic plague in Europe, the Jews following the Mosaic covenant were under suspicion because of how well they were doing in comparison.
