A person who is so determined to psychologically torture children does not care for animals. You know... think about serial killers. Where does cruelty and a lack of empathy come from? I'm not vegan, but if I was going to make an argument for it, I'd say that logically it makes sense to find easily produced meat alternatives. Let's start by regulating the food industry that currently produces foods that directly harm us. Then we can decide how to produce suitable protein for all dietary requirements. At no point would I suggest psychologically damaging children. She's using the vegan thing as a free pass. I don't think she cares at all. It's just deflection as a manipulation tactic. It's annoying because she counts on those around her (i.e. the rest of us) actually caring when she really doesn't.
