So this was a song he wrote ro his wife, thinking about her always being there for him, in particular with his depression struggles during and after NW. It was suggested it would be a good duet and he knew just who to ask as the lyrics meaning could describe their renewed friendship as well

Thanks for the reaction. A beautiful song that brought together two old friends. The song was originally written for his wife, who helped him overcome his dark period. Later, however, he added that the song is also valuable for him and Tarja, and that it well describes their history.

Great reaction. :) It's really good song with deep meaning. I know that probably no one else would recommend it to you, but if you like deep songs, I would like to recommend you four japanese songs. I'm big fan of japanese music and I think on west japanese bands are really underrated. So if you can please react to The Gazette - Blinding Hope, there is official music video, it's mostly in japanese (pre-chorus is in english), but you can turn on english subs in that video. Song was released in 2021 in pandemic it was like message to fans, song is about isolation and depression, but there's always hope for better days. Second is Deadman - Follow the Night Light, there's official music video, but lyrics are fully in japanese, so I recommend there is upload with english subs made by fan. This song is from 2005, is about social problems and indifference, heavy in lyrics, even if isn't sounds really heavy, sounds more funky, but still very melancholic and gloomy. Third is Girugamesh - Kowarete Iku Sekai (in english it means "crumbling/breaking world"), there's official music video to this song as well, but it's also fully in japanese and there's also upload with english translation of lyrics made by fan. This song is from 2007 and band unfortunately already disbanded... But this song squeezing my heart every time I'm listen to it and I've heard it for the first time in 2008. Song is about how people are destroing other people and Mother Earth, I think this is one of those songs which more people should hear, but unfortunately it's by japanese band from some niche movement/genre, so mostly only some fans of that genre heard this song... And last one is Kaya - Villain, also have official music video, but without english subs. But if you type "the lair of madame tarantula kaya" in browser, first result should be from such blog and page with Kaya's discography, this song is from single "Villains" from 2023, so ust find it and click song "Villain" in tracklist, there are two versions of this single and both are mentioned there, but it doesn't matter in which one you will click, it's the same. This song is about being different, Kaya is solo artist, he's crossdresser and bisexual, one of a few openly gay people in japanese music industry, so it's about his own experiences. All four artists are from that niche movement/genre called Visual Kei (visual style, "kei" is pronounced like "k" in english alphabet), it's quite wide when it comes to music genres, mostly rock and metal, The Gazette is quite heavu, but Kaya's music isn't. And visual side is very different from most western bands, because there's a lot of makeup, rich costumes etc and also there are some theatrical elements in behavior and vocals, I hope you don't mind. Maybe not all, but many bands are making emotional music and vocals are beautiful and full of emotions, you can hear it in songs I recommended. About lyrics, you can also find english translations by fans online to all those three songs I mentioned there are videos with english subs, if you prefer. I know translation isn't the same that original lyrics, but fans are doing really great job. I hope you will react to these songs, maybe some of them, all are really great.
