But they were already ok again in 2017. Then last year (summer 2023) both Marko's solo band and Tarja's solo band were booked to play 2 festivals on the same day. 1st was in Switzerland, 2nd in Finland and Tarja took the initiative to ask Marko to sing 1 song together on stage with her (at her show). They have been singing it live since the 28th of february, the first show day of the tour they are doing together now. RIGHT NOW: Marko and Tarja are touring together in south america and will also do festival shows in the summer. They seem to be friends again. Both will still have their separate music careers as their main job, but they will also tour and record some stuff together again occasionally, going forward. On the tour every night Marko sings 5-6 acoustic songs solo before Tarja sings ~6 songs alone with her full band, then Marko joins her for ~6 songs, Tarja sings few more alone again and they will do the last one together. I really love this song for more than one thing...of course having Tarja and Marko singing together is such a great thing! Their voices compliment each other so well..& it shows they have left the past behind! Oh...as for the music...as I believe Marko is 58 years old...as I am 66....so I believe Marko might have been a Led Zeppelin fan in the mid to late 1970's. The opening of the song has a definite homage to Led Zeppelin's hit song, Kashmir. It may take you a few times listening to the song...but I knew right away that Marko knew exactly what he was doing!!! This song is a masterpiece... and I will be listening to it many, many times!

Definitely they don`t go for operatic feeling, most likely for purpose! This is more like power metal style… and I like it! It would be boring to them to mimic Nightwish! They do something very different in here, even the genre still is metal, it is different metal.

I like Tarja whit operatic voice, I dont like her voice in these songs. Her ”normal” voice is not honey to my ears. She is just a mediocre singer to my opinion.
