Testing the dna will not prove that they were carried by the duchess. A surrogate could have carried the embryo that could have contained dna from both Harry and Megain. Dna is not the primary issue, it's whether or not either child was born of the body of the duchess. Given the shocking moonbump drop at Birkenhead during the alleged last trimester, it is unlikely. Crown law is specific. To be in line of succession the child must be born of the royal mother. There are no documents with the proper signatures attesting to this. I believe that the current law says that a royal child carried by a surtogate would be considered illegitimate.

I completely agree that M&H are trying very much to be as royal as they can possibly be and you're right, their last name is Mountbattan-Windsor. I believe Meghan was trying to hurt and anger Queen Elizabeth by officially calling her child by the Queen's nickname that only those closest could call her. Mountbatten-Windsor was a concession made to Prince Philip when he stated that even the poorest child in the kingdom could have his father’s surname but his children had to take their Mother’s surname. It was used for members of Prince Philip’s line who did not have a title. Currently, no-one in in Prince Philip’s line has the name Mountbatten-Windsor. Lilibet was used because her late majesty could not say her own name and it was a pet name. It was not up for grabs by some upstart who married her grandson.

The fire department in the township I grew up in raised money for the Jerry Lee Lewis Telathon for MS.
