"PTSD can be referred to as having a wound on your arm that scabs over…you have to rip it open, wash it out….Eventually you have to live with the scar." So proud of Jayson and Tyler for telling their stories. I know in telling your story that you ripped open the scab many times. Family Over Everything.

I nearly lost both arms and my leg. Severe ptsd and severe tbi. I am a different person. Only thing I would change is how the military treats its wounded soldiers. I was in the wtb so I seen how poorly the treatment is. Little to nothing. Just barely enough to say “you had treatment” and you’re shoved out the door and told the “bad will take care of you” I’m still going through it.

This will open a lot of peoples eyes. Hopefully make them understand what you "guys" go through just to keep us safe. Even if some of those people are not man (or woman) enough to do so. Maybe seeing different families go through it will help someone else's family handle it better. THANKS TO ALL OF YOU FOR PROTECTING US AND GIVING IT YOUR ALL!!!!!!!!

What an amazing job this film maker has done at capturing the reality of PTSD and goes the next step to making brilliant suggestions on what we need to do to help those that live with this hell called PTSD...."we need to normalize the process"...yess! It is a not helpful to hear textbook suggestions from people (although with good intentions I'm sure) who don't truly understand what it is like to live with or around PTSD. I want everyone to see this!

Sometimes I feel everywhere and nowhere. Those who gave up there ghost so violently and unnaturally are somewhere... And I bet it's somewhere awesome. I think of them every day because I know they would me. Brothers. Soldiers. Men. Americans.

how are all these guys coming home with ptsd and going back to shooting. An involuntary hospitalization and allot of other things co-morbid with ptsd like alcohol and drug abuse make you prohibited federally from purchasing/owning a firearm. If congress passes the concealed carry, and they decide to check VA/Military mental health records allot these guys are going to get fucked over, BIG TIME

i am sorry about these men and their families, now think about the families and those that survived the USA terrorism that created ISIS in Iraq and Syria after 10 years of occupation… you have created whole nations on ptsd, congratulations
@jbp56828 жыл бұрын
Your premise is worn-out and overused. The bottom line is this: The attacks (plural) on Sep. 11th killed 2,296 civilians who were guilty of nothing more than waking up and going about their morning. That brief period set into motion the war in Iraq and Afghanistan, and if you don't think any other nation would've reacted the same then you're out of touch with reality. Syria is a mess because of the divide between those who do/do not support Asaad. ISIS exists because of a sick, disgusting cycle of radical Islamist hell bent on killing anyone not adhering to their tenets. Walking into a Catholic Church, taking a 5 year old boy, having one person hold his feet, the other his head, then sawing him in half at the waist in front of his father is terrorism. Beheading an 80 something French priest during mass is terrorism. Flying two commercial airliners into the Twin Towers is terrorism. And what's the common denominator of those events? ISLAM. America isn't perfect. We have many faults. But being terrorists is not one.

JBP 568 well said. I hate how they try to put the blame on the U.S. when they should take a look in the mirror.

JBP 568 9/11 was an inside job. Are u blind? No plane went into the pentagon wtc tower 7 collapsing????? Twin towers went down on thermite ignited controlled demolition . The explosive was planted throughout the weekend while twin towers were shut down under maintenance. The company running the maintenance was owned by bush cousin and 2 years earlier by Bush himself . Can’t you see it. You have been fooled and betrayed and millions have died. I have the utmost respect for guys who are willing to die for their brothers but I can’t not to think about the women and children dying of money wars. I m Italian , i grew up with vans shoes Listening to springsteen and eating burgers. I could say that i love america, but I have a problem with all this war mentality. And the problem is , you dont know what war is. Yes you ve been at war over the past 60 years so you think you know your facts, thing is war has never come to you. Yes you know how to fight a war but u don t know how it feels to have your cities flattened , your families dying of starvations in shelters . You know how destroy a city but you have never had your cities covered with ruins . The only ruins you have belong to to towers and they went straight into their own basement as result of a controlled demolition . I m lucky enough to have been raised by my grannies. The have all experienced years of war and they taught me a little on how it feels as a child being bombed and loosing your families
