A whole bunch of cadets are yelling but they're not that convincing. Seems like they are yelling just for spectacle's sake and that they "should" be yelling because they're "supposed" to be. Some of the looks on their faces are priceless. Like a WWE match.

I noticed online that the same school hosts all 3 branch ROTC what uniform does the Navy ROTC wear?

the air force, navy, and Marine Corps cadets wear the same uniform as the army cadets.

On a day to day basis, Norwich Cadets wear the Norwich uniforms. Their Corps of Cadets uses ACU pattern for their camouflage. On uniform days for the Cadet's specific service, they wear the uniform of the day for their specific service. TLDR: Navy ROTC wears Navy gear for uniform days. The rest of the time they wear Norwich uniforms.

For about 8 months or so its like that yeah. It gets better over time as the relationships with your cadre develop and you get better but we got yelled at a lot. It isn't that bad though

That builds young men and women if you choose to stick it out. It's the best thing for most kids starting life off. This is only College with MILITARY to go with it, my son came out stronger with lots of brother's and sisters made, some drove 16 hours just 3 months later for his Wedding. He's in Texas still training. Already trained in Colorado for flying and passing that, makes decent money, we will see him in 2 week's for Christmas since early March of 2018, that's the hardest thing, being away from family. It turns you into the man you become or the strong women you are. The class of 2017 for my son. I created this I believe the 1st year he was up in Vermont and came up with this name. I'm a very proud dad, that I can say, always keep your head high and always will come out on top. It might take longer than expected at time's, but at least you get it done now in the end. Norwich is a pretty unique experience. My platoon had Navy and Army Cadets in it. Can't get that at VMI.

Short answer is No. I did a tour in Nam and sucked it up, played the game, and got my commission from NU. That said I loved the school enough to pick up my undergrad and two masters. Would not have been happier any where else.

When you join the Corps of Cadets, you all start off as Rooks. The rank you hold in the military would only apply during Reserve or National Guard drill time while wearing that uniform and acting in that capacity. We had a guy in my platoon who went through ECP at one of the junior military colleges, so technically he was a 2nd Lieutenant but that was only applicable when he was off campus at drill during rookdom. Once you get past your Rook year things lighten up a bit.
