Keep up the B7 RS4 content, man. Love watching car enthusiasts reinvigorate older, timeless generations (in my opinion) with passion. Can’t wait to see what’s next - keep it coming when time permits. Silver pops better on a dark colour car 100% .. PS so glad in the UK we have the proper Lamborghini steering wheel haha

Love it. And yeah we got shafted on the steering wheel and seats in the US. Still a great car though.

I hope you can get a good silver for your alloys, I had mine refurbed to silver and they don’t look as bright as oem, so having them redone again with a metallic flake so it pops, though the original colour is a flat silver unless you go down the route of using paint not powder it will be hard to achieve.

Looks like you have a Mugello Blue version A RS4 just like mine..... the version A cars were the first off the boat.. the larger shark fin antenna and the upper dash buttons missing the silver trim are the telltale signs. Glad to see you're getting it back into shape. My wheels are gunmetal too, but I wrapped my silver door trim, front grill and rear trim to match. Left the mirrors silver though. Going on 13 years with mine. Thought about selling a few times, but then I go for a drive.

Definitely wouldn’t recommend as a daily but such a great second car. The noise is intoxicating and it’s such a blast to drive. Best of luck on your hunt for one.

The headliner is due to the glue that they use. They use environmentally friendly (less durable glue). I have a 2008 RS4 Cabrio and the window glass on the top came off the fabric. I had to replace the entire top to address this. This time it was glued in the go 'old USA so it will stick on much longer.

Got one of these so always looking for DIY KZbin videos on them. Had the car around 14 months and so far replaced the oil cooler and pipes and most recently the front control arms along with the tie rod ends. Fortunately the pinch bolts didn't put up too much of a fight. I also cleaned up the DRC pipes as they were looking rusty. Previous owner replaced all DRC dampers in 2020 so need to look after the rest of the system. Still thinking of a new exhaust? I'm tempted to just do a res delete with a custom x-pipe as I don't want it too loud. Also much cheaper than a Milltek. Definitely go for the silver wheels. Car should really pop then.

Silver would look better, but on the downside they’re a lot more work to keep looking clean. Pros and cons lol. Gotta applaud you wanting to keep it looking factory fresh. Far too many with silly CF diffusers and splitters and ruined interiors out there.

as far steering wheel emblem , just replace the whole steering wheel with flat on the bottom :) they make nice ones !
