These type of Outboard "Quality Inspection" and "Repair" videos are definitely the best for me. I have learned so much from them and have utilized the information with my gained confidence. I also like the videos of restoring boats because with the way boat prices are that is the way I am going to have to go to replace my 16ft inflatable boat with a fiberglass boat (Boston Whaler or equivalent). Thanks for what you do!

Pound for pound, no modern 90hp motor comes close to the power to weight ratio of those old 2 stroke Yamaha 90's. They broke the mold after they made that motor.

Thanks for the video ! One thing you might try to dissolve rust and even some aluminum corrosion like was on the pair of 150 Hondas is oxalic acid. It is effective on rust but fairly mild on most other things (even skin and fabric.) I get a 5 lb bag of oxalic on Amazon for $25 and it lasts me a long time. I usually apply it with a sprayer. If I'm not able to rinse thoroughly after treatment I neutralize the acid with a solution of baking soda. Thanks again!

Honda’s are by far my favorite outboard. 8,9xx hours and not single issue. Bought it second hand with a bad head gasket 8 years ago. Fyi it’s on my crab boat that works 364 days a year in Florida.
