I remember when this was all going on. There was a guy who sort of resembled Eric Frein. He didn't have a car and had to walk a couple miles to work. He got stopped at gunpoint like a dozen times. Eventually he wore a sign that read "Not Eric Frein". I felt bad for that guy, but from what I understand, people chipped in and bought him a cheap used car. Faith in humanity restored.

i couldn't agree more! another reason he is my personal favorite true crime creator is that he doesn't over-dramatize the already doom-and-gloom stories. i hate when creators start speaking in those low, slow, scratchy voices reminiscent of a third grader telling a spooky story over a flashlight during his first ever slumber party, ya know? when a person takes on true crime as their genre, i believe they owe it to the victims and victims' families to stick to the facts and tell the story in a meaningful way and not stuff it full of unnecessary adjectives of monstrosities and other nothings that go bump in the night. i think Mike does that better than most TC creators on YT. humanity is scary enough without turning sick individuals into supernatural boogeymen.

Most reenactors these days refer to it as "living history", and it goes much further than just staging mock battles - they gives talks, demonstrate how equipment was used and carried, What food they ate, what their medical facilities were like, how they lived in camp etc. They take time to debunk movie and TV myths, and they aim for everything to look as authentic as possible. Oh, and their favourite stupid question from joe public is... "Is that a real fire you're cooking over?"

The reality was that he was working with the guy he killed and so knew he had money stashed away at his father's house. So he and another guy killed him and his girlfriend (wife? Media sensationalism. The criminal thugs called cops and evil agents of the govs - drag these things out (especially cereal murderers) , and they release alleged clues they find along the way. To keep folks in suspense and hopefully fearing that they could be the next victim . Cuz the govs, through the media use it as a distraction from whatever evil deed the govs were up to perpetrating at the time, and the strong armed robbery of every city zen daily. And in return the criminal thug enforcers called cops and the evil agents of the govs - get media publicity. And those criminals get to be presented as heros on the tell lie vision, all over the world. And they get book deals. In exchange for dragging these investigations out, often letting killers continue to kill.

Saw the evidently true reality of things - He realized that the cops are actually criminal thug enforcers of the "CRIMINAL laws, CRIMINAL statutes, and CRIMINAL acts of the (criminal)CRIMINAL justice system".. And he was hoping to start something that might effect change. The criminal thugs called cops and evil criminal agents, strong armed rob the city zens blind 24/7 , the kidnap and cage the poor folks who cant "pay their dues to society/the govs" with cash, must sit in a cage until the thugs called cops rob their dues from the city zens, and thus "their dues are paid to society". And the cops also murder, stalk, terrorize, harrass, and do all of the things do criminal thugs do. And this dude saw the evident reality of things and hoped to start something that would effect change. But even if folks could effect change and free themselves from slavery to the evil crime boss slave lords called govs - Most folks think the evil govs are their friends, especially the criminal thug enforcers. Who actually protect the criminals and their crimes, by daring anyone to protect themselves against criminals, especially them/the govs, under threat of being kidnapped, caged, and held for ransom/dues. And possibly murdered. The criminal thugs called cops murder too. And rarely do they murder actual criminals - Only if they hve too. Usually they murder innocent non criminal offenders when they murder someone. And they treat the non criminals like dirt, and treat the real criminals with the utmost respect, and protect them from harm. With acception of the few they put to death, after collecting millions in dues under the guise of appeals. They block justice from being served, by protecting the criminals and earning money off of their misery. That is why dude did what he did.

He had burrowed into the middle of this big pile, just stuff stacked and piled up, as you see in the shot in here. He'd found some books and magazines around, a few other random things. This was crazy when it happened. I worked in a forest district to the south and the interagency response that turned out for the searching was pretty intense. It felt like the search went on forever.

I remember my high school having heavy response police teams chilling at our Football games in Scranton cause of him.

This one happened right in my back yard. I remember this happening. It was wild. Every single person in the area was on high alert. There were pipe bmbs in the woods, made from pill bottles with hex nuts glued around the outside. Everyone was checking their sheds and crawl spaces, and locking their doors at night.

What? I'm not fully understanding that pill bottle bombs thing.... Was it a bunch of pill bottles filled up with the nuts supposed to act as shrapnel? Was it A regular pill bottle, but with a hex nuts glued where the lid should be, or it was glued flush against the top of the lid ....? Or a pill bottle with the nuts glued around the outside of the bottle, like how kids decorate recycled containers with stickers all around them, all over & around the whole outside of a container? I think I'm going to head to Google this & hopefully I didn't end up on some sort of watchlist!!!

That Chapter there is another case in Pennsylvania from just this past summer of a man Brandon Stein shooting Pennsylvania State Police officers after baiting them by shooting at their barracks. It happened in Juniata County Pennsylvania. One trooper was killed another critically wounded and the suspect died. It sounded like a war zone on the civilian videos and it lasted hours.
