Something about this case aside from the obvious horrific things that happened, really effected me. I watched a doc on this before and he set up a blockade in the road so no cops or paramedics could get through. He also was in a stand off with police. These women had to wait almost two hours before anyone could get in to help them. Lisa was so strong. She tried so hard to hold on and she fought hard. It's so heartbreaking. 💔

Crazy how he was able to show so much self control initially - he had the girl he was obsessed with alone and drunk, throwing herself at him and he didn't act on it. @ritawashere5787 Жыл бұрын
Yes, I was thinking about that too. I think he's mentally off and perhaps the time they were friends his behavior was different. And then for whatever reason he snapped about her hitting on him. Seems like he has a great imagination, so it could be used drama queen. Probably why he went to complain about her to the military. He knows how the military Works, he probably thought it would affect her career. Go figure he was her supervisor and it affected his. And I'm quite certain that is the reason he did not get his promotion.
@smorgensterin4990 Жыл бұрын
I know the Coast Guard is a bit different from other military branches, but I get it--it's not always easy for women, so a man showing her kindness probably felt like a protective factor to her. She made a mistake of course, but it was handled, IMO, appropriately. They both received reprimand. Women often experience way, way worse in terms of actual assault and they're often too afraid to report. It's so gross that he blew it up so far out of proportion. I think he thought about killing her before it even happened...murdering someone for grabbing their arm is straight up mental. This is not a stable human being. The fact that he planned for it to be a murder suicide speaks volumes. He put himself in a bad position drinking with someone he was supervising, but I know that also happens a lot in the military. As soon as she came on to him, he should have made her leave/left (I'm not sure where they were). It's not like she could overpower him, she was inappropriate but this is problem that is easily solved before stuff escalated. Seems like a very fragile and immature man.

In response to the last post made- what mental trauma are you referring to exactly? The supposed “attack” he claimed was made by the poor woman he killed? From everything I heard Mike tell us about this dude it sounds to me like a case of a total narcissist’s ego wanting revenge first in a extremely petty way and when that didn’t work, the most horrible- by taking her and almost her wife very lives. I really don’t see any trauma that he suffered other than what he himself decided to inflict. I’m not trying to be argumentative by saying this but I’m perplexed as to how anybody could think that this guy deserves any sympathy or understanding in his actions concerning everything that he chose to do and did.

But on the other hand. ( no pun intended) I'm glad he was!! I believe if he was convicted may 30,2019 he could have faced the death penalty for capital murder. They sense abolished it. Capital murder i believe fits this crime 1) cause it was planed out 2) one was gunned down in her own home with intent to kill them both . Now I could be wrong? Im hoping this surviving young woman who looked loss and signs of PTSD gets help. Im praying she recovered from her ordeal? That has to be a Nightmare and im sure she will have better days head. I would love to assist you in supplying information and these materials if you think this case is appropriate for a video. I’ve had panic attacks just like the one he had. His fingers went numb and started contracting, your stomach and face get numb and you hyperventilate making it hard to breath and talk. You can override the numbness but as soon as you stop your fingers contract again. Just bc you’re driving doesn’t mean you can’t get a panic attack and the only thing you can do is work through it until you can pull over. This guy is disgusting but panic/anxiety disorder is a real thing and it affects the best and worst of us and I felt his panic watching that clip. @nalcarya4 жыл бұрын
As said in the video he was later diagnosed with a version of "high-functioning Aspergers". High-functioning in that context means that the person is very good at masking their problems to others and function as expected, most people would never notice there was an issue unless specifically told so. If he didn't have any criminal or medical record of this condition when applying, which is kinda likely, there simply wasn't anything to be found while screening him. I have a high-functioning version of a certain disorder myself, symptoms got progressively worse over many years with no treatment. I was only diagnosed after hitting 30 because I mask my issues so well. I didn't even know or assume something was maybe wrong with me for the largest part of my life, I just tried to handle things myself and cope with everything, which got harder and harder. This is in no way a defense of the guy, and neither are mental health issues an excuse for being a dick or cirminal action. Just thought it might explain why he got along fine in life until the attack.

Although some are more fragile, they can be equally as dangerous and their grip on reality is usually hanging on by a thread already. I can't believe how long it took for the cops to arrive, you hear there's an active shooter in an apartment building and it takes 30 minutes to get there. That's insane. For all they know that guy could have been going on a killing spree and taking out everybody in the building.

Our 911 communications need a serious re doing, idk if you’ve ever had to call them in a super straining, serious, mentally exhausting situation , but they almost seem like they are annoyed that you are calling them, you might get lucky and get the one that is compassionate, and helpful but almost 80% of them are literally so fucking shit at their job

It was on Cape Cod. Every community isn't concentrated and urban. In my rural area a law enforcement response, depending on when it occurred, would involve mutual aid from several agencies (whoever had manpower), and wouldn't be instant. That's not unusual in rural areas.
@Julia-yn5xh2 жыл бұрын
Legally the cops don’t have any obligation to respond. As the Supreme Court has said, they aren’t your bodyguard. That’s what the 2nd Amendment is for.
@davidgearardo17882 жыл бұрын
Yeah I agree but when seconds count the cops are just minutes away, and tbh that crap probably wouldn’t have had long legs in Alaska, most of them are packing. Be safe carry a weapon 👍🏻 editing this it’s Massachusetts sooo well you know.

@@michaelmorgan9601 they literally are! I’ve had to call them a couple times before and most of the time they’re rude. I’ve heard that a 911 operator got annoyed and hung up on someone before
