Can you imagine being Tracy? Knowing that your attempt to reach out and befriend awkward, sickly sheltered woman, make her feel more welcome in town and find your cousin a girlfriend ended up alienating said cousin from the rest of the family, eventually murdering your brother and his fiancee (leaving their six month old baby unharmed, sure, but what could have happened to him in the time it took for them to be found?). And all over a hate campaign that said said woman very, very obviously faked? Jenelle's older sister Christie has had some very interesting things to say about Jennelle and the case; she has argued that Jenelle, while possessing a lower IQ and having auditory processing issues, is much more capable than either of their parents gave her credit for and believes their coddling of her to be part of the reason that Jenelle has always had such a hard time making friends. Upsettingly for Christie (thought I get the impression it was probably more a shock than a surprise for her), evidence was found in the piles of printed off emails to show that Barbra and "Chris" talked about her, with "Chirs" talking about how he was sure that she was friends with these horrible women that were harassing Jenelle, she was whoring herself out (neither of which were true) and how it made him so angry he just wanted to kill her. To which her mother replied; "you're welcome to kill any of them, but if you kill Christie, make sure her body is found. We have a life insurance policy on her". Just in case you needed a reason to hate Babs any ore than you already do...

The saddest thing about this story is the little baby boy. Left to his own devises for how long and orphaned. That’s so sad 😞

"It looks like she was trying to get to her baby". Damn... That hurt my heart.

In the book about the case there was some talk of possibly taking out the baby. I think Jenelle very much wanted that.
@kelly_aldridge3 жыл бұрын
@@jen30551 Can you share the book name? There was one sentence in the emails that mentioned killing the baby. At 20:00 in Barbara's email to Jenell- I mean Chris, she says "so if someone wants to bring it on, they will all die, including the baby." Curious if there were more references to that.

@@kelly_aldridge Its called "Too Pretty to Live: The Catfishing Murders of East Tennessee" by the prosecutor Dennis Brooks. You should definitely check it out! I found it to be a well written, compelling read. He includes a lot of the emails which are a trip to read. I dont recall if there was more spefically on her wanting the baby dead but I do recall it being pretty clear that she wasn't opposed to it! That mother is a the truly dangerous one in my opinion. I believe she was at least partly aware of what was happening and enjoyed it.

It always baffles me at almost everyone ever murdered was bubbly,loved everyone, everyone loved them and would do anything for anybody. I have already written my own obituary. It says "she was such a bitch,I don't know how she wasn't killed years ago. Not one thing nice to say about her". I swear only nice lovely people are murdered so I don't think I will be a murder victim. LOL.

Jokes anyway cause things happen everywhere all the time. Never got why people say that sort of thing. What they mean is "things happen but we either don't know about it, ignore it, or hide it"
@amandarios4484 жыл бұрын
@@redheadwithafierytemper5668 that's because most nice people don't know how to say NO. And don't nip it at the bud when shit starts to go wrong. They think others are Like them and mean no harm. That's basically how my mom is and how she NEARLY GOT KILLED.

Omg!! The look on Mike’s face when she was recorded saying “It turned out to be a jealousy thing because they said I was too pretty.” Mirrored my own!😂😂😂 And not to one up Jenelle’s stupidity with writing the names on the rock, but in my state two men murdered three people in Humbolt NE and then proceeded to tuck the gun and knife they used into a work glove and throwing it off a bridge into the river. Two problems with this. 1. It was winter and the river was completely iced over so the State police just simply walked out on the ice to retrieve it. 2. When they did inside the glove was a if lost return to label with one of the killers names in it.🙄🙄
