I HAAAAAAATED the Piranha as a kid. That was the one boss I always had issues with. Maybe I was just bad at the game.

I recently bought this game again and realized something. Despite probably spending hundreds of hours on it when i was younger i never made it past the first boss i could never click a fast enough to escape his wind i managed to beat it on my very first try while replaying it though lol. Also doesn't help that I had no idea how to damage him because I couldn't read so i didn't know you were supposed to grab the bombs and throw them back

Como hispanohablantes, mi familia nunca se pasó el primer boss en modo historia porque el juego estaba en inglés y nunca supieron como se pasaba, así que siempre reiniciaban el juego luego de pasarse el primer tablero. Entonces, un día me dió por jugar (nunca había jugado) porque me dió curiosidad, entonces luego de pasarme el tablero ví el minijuego del jefe (que nunca lo había visto) y le pregunté a mi hermana cómo se pasaba, y me dijo que no se podía y que se tenía que salir y ponerlo otra vez, lo peor es que creo que sí me hizo reiniciarlo, hasta que me pasé el tablero otra vez y decidí intentar el minijuego, ví que al principio salía un texto que no entendía porque no sabía inglés, pero ví que salía el botón "b". Y bueno.. acabé descubriendo demasiado rápido lo que había que hacer y acabé presumiendo xd De hecho, lo mismo pasó con los demás bosses que tuve que enseñarle a mi hermana cómo se pasaban porque para mí era demasiado obvio, también recuerdo que contra Kamek mi hermana nunca se lo pudo pasar pero yo sí, de hecho ni le gustaba su tablero por eso de que la estrella era aleatoria, creo que tampoco se pudo pasar a bowser. Luego recuerdo de acabar la historia me la empecé a pasar muchas veces hasta acabar desbloqueando todos los minijuegos. Por cierto, yo tenía como 7 años y mi hermana como 9, pero ni mi mamá ni mi papá sabían pasarselo. Lo único que nunca pude pasarme fue el Mario 64 de la DS xd A la verga, qué hago contando mi vida en un video de angloparlante de hace 6 años

You can record your playthrough and use Save States and Slowdown to get a perfect run to see how well the savestates were used.
