Love the Title "Hidden Subaru" and the video David, When I worked in a used car purchasing office I would always search statewide inventory for these hidden gems to utilize my employee purchases. Every time I drive a Saab I fall in love with it. I don't care if its a rebadged Opel, Subaru, Trailblazer or SRX. There's something about the Swedish re-engineering that makes an ordinary car great in my opinion.

MAEguy How do you like yours? My friend has one, in red which I think looks much better than silver(no offense), with a vf48 and a 2.5 "hybrid" with a low mileage 4eat and a pro tune, it makes some nice power. I have debated about getting one in the future but my focus ST is almost as practical, just no awd.
@DCGarage10 жыл бұрын
***** So far it's my favorite car that I've owned but it has been the biggest problem child of them all. I think they look fantastic in red but I wanted silver or black because red cars are a bit too flashy for my taste. Mine got a brand new 205 (I debated a hybrid build but I went with the 205 because I didn't want to make a huge change to a car I barely knew yet) and brand new TD04 (I wanted to go with a VF39 but I couldn't find one locally and the TD was in absolutely perfect like-new condition and a good price). The Focus ST is a pretty cool car though, if you don't need AWD where you live, I would just keep it. Personally I would take the Saabaru over an ST but that's mostly just because I really like having weird ass cars that nobody knows about lol

Apparently Snaab92x forum got together in a *very* small circle and trashed talked your review instead of being helpful fellow car guys. @JackstandJohnny9 жыл бұрын
As the proud and informed owner of a 2002 WRX wagon, I have a few gripes. 1. Neither of these cars have blow off valves, they have bypass valves. That's why you don't hear one in this Saab, cause you won't hear it in the WRX either. 2. The TD-04 turbo is about 1.75x larger than you mimed it to be and is about as ideal as it gets for these engines. 3. The front fascia swap onto a WRX is not called a Saabaru. The 92x you're driving is what the majority call the Saabaru, because its a Subaru with Saab badges and a different front fascia. 4. There's no difference in sound between a 92x and a WRX that are tuned identically, because they have identical powertrains. 5. Putting HIDs in fog lights is a DICK move. Just an inconsiderate dick thing to do because they're not designed to accept HIDs. Other than that, props for installing the STi steering rack. Was this filmed in Richmond Indiana or Richmond Virginia? If you're in Virginia, youre show needs to test drive my 2002 WRX wagon that is also stage 2 but its an automatic. Before anyone talks shit about my automatic, they're stronger than the manual transmissions these cars came with and I have a prosthetic left so no more clutch pedals for me.
