ThatDudeinBlue Great video man, I've never seen your videos before but after seeing this I'm definitely gonna be checking out your page more often, you gave great details and analogies about the car and at the same time I could tell you were having a great time doing it. Right now I'm in a 2012 VW GLI but I just test drove a black GT with the Performance Pack yesterday and absolutely loved it. I really like the blue on this car but wasnt sure how it would look with the PP black rims until I saw this video, you had some great angles and shots of the car and I really was able to get a feel for what the car actually looks like. I just wanted to say thanks for the great review, its much appreciated.

I've seen a price list for it (whether it's legit or not I don't know) and its gonna be cheap, like real cheap starting around £30k for the ecoboost and £38k for the gt I think. If it's real we may be seeing more than anyone would've expected.

Me personally, the upgraded v8 is awesome and the interior is the best ive seen....but the body reminds me of when the first gen sn95 came out. Yes it looks ok but they couldve made this thing better "looking" the 13 a d 14s are the best they have done. Im sure a lot of people agree with me and it wouldnt surprise me to see them modify this body in a year or 2. Oh and the front end looks good but I have a problem with rear end and the side...looks like an accord or something

Some points about the 2015 Mustang GT- Pros: -More confident transitional handling than 2011-14 live axle cars, due to new IRS -Many interior materials improved -Improved ergonomics -Better brakes than outgoing model -Slightly faster around a track than 2011-14 model Cons: -Still slower around a track than a Camaro SS 1LE -Gained 100+ lbs of weight from last generation -Slightly slower in a drag race than equally-equipped 5.0 from last generation -Costs more than last generation for equivalent trim level -Seating position is quite high for a performance car -Wheel hop on hard launches due to new IRS There is a misconception that the S197 5.0 didn't handle well, due to the live axle. In reality, the outgoing car was a very good-handling car when equipped with the right tires. Sharp turn-in, great steady-state handling, excellent chassis balance. The new car will no doubt ride more smoothly, and handle mid-corner bumps better.

Agreed. He is seriously overstating the difference between the 11-14 and '15 engines. The '15 put on weight, and gained just enough power stock to keep it ALMOST even with a stock 11-14 in a drag race. I don't care what else they improved in the car (which they did), there is no way Ford should have allowed the GT to be released without making sure it was noticeably faster than the outgoing model in a straight line. This type of car demands improvements in acceleration.

I only clicked on this because its the same color as my 2016 GT. I find the 3.55 gears to be pretty responsive and it pulls A LOT harder than the 2013 3.7 I had prior to it. I suppose I'm close enough to 3.73's that it wouldn't be a worthwhile upgrade. 4.10's would be pointless. Also, the haters can pound sand. They'll call Mustang's "slow" or "dangerous" etc. Chances are, they don't even have a car that is even comparable. I bought it because I want something I can actually enjoy. Something I can keep till I'm old and wipe it down in my garage and keep it pretty, and be proud of it. Plus do hard pulls out in the country.

+David Lopez The corvette was never designed (until recently) to be a car to race in. It was a big v8 that you could go fast in a straight line right out of the factory. The Ford GT was designed to smoke a Ferrari on the track. 2 completely different cars on 2 completely different levels. One is a super car and one is a sports car. You don't need someone in a magazine to tell you that the c6 and back competed with cars that had a v8 or a supercharged v6. AMGs, GT500s, and sometimes Jags. Hey David you should consider doing another review of Alex's stang cause from what I see its gone through quite some changes the past year. He's my neighbor in my apartment and we got the talking about it and it truly is an amazing car. The way it sits on the new wheels hes got paired up with the airlift performance bags is so much yes. Not to mention he was able to get his hands on the stock european 2015 mustang tailights as well as the gt350 front bumper. Thing is loud as hell too, wakes up the whole damn apartment complex lmao

Thanks for the review David. I have a 2012GT and at first this knew body style did not appeal to me in the front. But it has grown on me tremendously. These classifications of cars I.E. Muscle, Super, Hyper etc, the Mustang was never a muscle car from my understanding. It has always just been too small. A 1970 Charger or Chevelle would be a muscle car. IMO the Mustang is a pony car but, that always debatable. Still waiting to see how the tuner market is going to get around cats being on the headers. American Muscle did a head to head 1/4 of a 2015GT vs a 2012GT and the 2012 was still faster. Both stock. Once this car comes out with a horsepower increase I may consider a trade but, that 392 Challenger is looking mighty nice.

As always, Spot on review. You echoed my exact thoughts when I drove a 2015 GT. I have the old live axle beast and it makes the cars almost in a separate class with the new IRS. Variable Timing and Lift Electronic Control. Ford's engines do not have lift control therefore Ford doesn't have VTEC. They just have VVT.

Alex Martino no im not saying its the fusion because the front resembles a fusion... im saying this is not a mustang because its not what makes american muscle cars unique... sports cars are a dime a dozen but there are only 3 muscle cars left... mustang, challenger, camaro and to a european like me a muscle car is a muscular, aggressive, large performance coupe that can keep up with BMW, audi, ect. as someone from luxembourg when i think muscle cars i think 2013 shelby GT500, 2015 camaro Zl1, 2015 challenger hellcat... not a smaller less aggressive more feminine "american muscle car toned down for the world market" aka the 2015 mustang. the styling worked for the fusion, aston martin front end, audi headlights, rear slope like a bmw m3... but using those same styling cues on a MUSTANG is not something that was a wise decision... thats why its a fusion coupe just because the badge calls it a mustang doesn't mean its styled like one ;)

justin bouche Well, I disagree. To me, this looks like an authentic Mustang. And one that's lost a few pounds and gained some refinement. It's weird. It's like people want muscle cars to be pieces of shit. It's still just as fun to drive as before, and it's more livable day to day. If you don't like the way it looks, you don't like the way it looks. But when you look at how well the body lines are sculpted, how tastefully the taillights were designed, and how aggressive and modern this car truly looks in person; it's hard to say this car isn't worthy of the Mustang name.

Ok here's what I think about the new mustang. I liked it ever since I saw the first photos style wise. I will say I like the 2012-2014 back end better than this one but I love the front of the 2015. In terms of performance, I am willing to sacrifice a few tenths of a second in the quarter mile for better performance around corners and on the back roads. I just have to say one thing to ford about the next mustang. WEIGHT REDUCTION!!!!

in my opinion , Ford Mustang is mot longer as a American muscle car, 2.3l Ecoboost ? High tech indoor? looks like a Japanese car ? but still is a nice review!

Man Im really thinking about buying one GT350 but I'm not sure, I'm between the GT350, C7, M2 or 2010 CLS 63 AMG. I will wait to see the new M2 and the GT350. Great video as always despite your biases but I guess that's not the intention of the video, if people want 100% unbiased reviews they should go to evo.

"Oh great. Another Mustang..." (little bit of sarcasm as a joke guys. Don't take it seriously!) One thing I love about the new Mustangs are those Recaro's. They look very similar to the ones in the GTR (correct me if I'm wrong) which is neat because they are really supportive. Never heard one complaint about those seats, so you know Recaro is doing a good job! Hats off to your buddy Alex. With all this craziness happening in the world today, I'm glad to see he's still alive and well.

Amazing story and great review! I really love how far mustangs have come and this body style totally grew on me. However, I think I still prefer the "raw" feel of the older ones, like both my 03 termi and 11 gt500pp😍

Contentment is the fruit to bear when it comes to these cars. These cars are far too expensive to just ride around town so people can "oh & ah" lol. But it must be nice for some. I've seen so far two 2015 stangs where i live and they're hideous to me, but to each it's own. Within a year or so i might drop the coyote crate engine in my 04 gt. Anyway, great video and review! Keep doing what you're doing man. God bless

I'm starting to really like the new Stang... But Until they change the front clip and get away from that Aston Martin look, I wouldn't get one. Nothing against the Aston Martin look, it's just in my opinion that Ford has used that "look" too much already in every one of their vehicles.

I have never liked mustangs before until the 2015. I think the styling is great and the car is more of an all around performer. Good job Ford. Im considering getting one in the future.

I enjoyed the video but just wanted to let you know the code name for the motor in the Boss is actually the roadrunner, not a coyote like the GTs. Not a big deal, just thought you should know.

I couldn't afford the premium package but I still got the basic mustang gt. I've had it for a few years and has about 52 thousand miles on it. Love the way it looks and drives. Tell ur friend I salute him for serving our great country.

Still disappointed that it gained weight, glad I bought my 13, hopefully they will do some more power when the new lt1 powered camaros start rolling out
