Great information been from El Salvador i can only relate to everything you just mentioned but also watch out when diving in the city and rural areas be on the look out and different driving havits also don't forget your car essentials ( fire extinguisher , hazard triangle, jack ) and don't forget your driver's license as you will encounter many check points a d don't forget to be on the look out for speed bumps ( most of the time they arer not marked or the paint is faded ) and you will be flying off the road or end up in a ditch. and last don't forget your sun screen the sun is very intense Love your chanel cheers

Thanks for the great highlight about my country El Salvador. I was just there in January, and I tell you, I was happy to be back. Yes, in some parts of the country, the weather is a bit different. Hi Vino 😊 are you talking about economical long term rental apartments? Yes, rent for cost of living in El Salvador has increased quite a bit especially in the city. The further away you move from the city the more economical rent is (we live about 40 minutes away from the city) but rent and school (if you have school age children) will be the bulk of your expenses here.

@@ThatExpatMom Thank you! I actually had specific plans to move to El Salvador during Easter 2022. Does this point in time ring a bell!? So I decided to postpone it. Many countries which I have lived in, which wanted to attract foreign professionals built new small adequate rental homes for newcomers. So that anyone around the world can just go there and start out with no problem in regards to finding and renting well maintained property. I guess this is actually an idea for Bukele: Build a condo complex with small units, low rental costs, fast Wi-Fi, modern gym, swimmingoool, NOMAD IT workspace, good airport connection et cetera et cetera If El Salvador wants to compete with example given the ASEAN Countries in attracting professional within the fields, which Bukele has announced that he wants to attract? When people are located 10k to 20k kilometers away and a not in the mood for the quest of finding, negotiating and struggling with housing issues - something readymade tailored for newcomers and well described on a homepage would be sold out fast I am sure? I have lived in ten different countries on three different continents. Finding a suitable rental with the needed facilities like a secure home, a comfy bed, somewhere to do serious exercise SEPERATED from the traffic! A place where you can actually sit down and suntan, have access to a swimmingpool, fast Wi-Fi, well assorted grocery stores et cetera. Can be an overwhelming task. I sound spoiled I know! I can do without the swimming pool. And all this sounds so simple?

@@ThatExpatMom lol a centipede omg 😳 we always get sick the first days we arrive at El Salvador because the food is so good and the tropical fruit that only grows in Central America… if in season we eat so much. So yeah I always say caution ⚠️ to that. Organic food is so much better it’s so sad that here in the USA they charge you more for buying organic label food…😒
