Great review! Is there any cushioning in the back/achilles of the shoe? I find a lot of vivos with no cushioning back there and leather strapping tend to push on the back part of my heel and cause pain. especially walking on inclines. Would this shoe also work for day to day walking around?

Yeah, these have a bit of cushion! They should work fine for that

How do these compare to vivo Motus?

Less rigid and low profile upper throughout. These also have a more built-out feel. In the gym, both are great for lifting - Motus takes an edge for CF and cross-training, though.

After months of usage, is the NL Radix outsole durable or not? I would like to buy it for training or sometime casual walking but concerns on its durability.

I'm having the outsole wear down a bit, but I've also used them for a bunch of concrete use and pickleball. I've been impressed with them holding up. Think you'd be fine in em, imo!

Ehhh, kind of, but Motus has the edge for CrossFit durability and they have a much more low-profile fit to them compared to these!

My climate is too cold for powerlifting these or avancus high top? Which are warmer? This is my problem with barefoot shoes, they are too breathable.

Both wold be fine, imo. I like these a bit more because they hug the feet a smidge more

Great review, I was looking at this shoe for court sports but I'm not completely sold on this model for that (looks great for the gym). What are your favorite barefoot shoes for court sports and cross-training?

Cross-training = BP savage 1/tribase reign 5 Barefoot = these could work, have played in Tolos before, and the be lenka velocity can work okay!
